Louis: I’ve ditched Chantelle for crack at Kimberley
Gymnast eyes up co-star after holiday fling

STRICTLY hunk Louis Smith has told latest squeeze Chantelle Hole to foxtrot off – as he admitted to having a crush on co-star Kimberley Walsh.
London 2012 gymnastics hero Louis hit it off with brunette Chantelle while on holiday in Marbella with pals after the Olympics.
But last night he insisted the romance was “never serious” and he was young, single and free to meet other women.
Louis, who this summer won Olympic silver on the pommel horse and bronze in the team event, said: “I met Chantelle on holiday and we went for a meal. There was definitely something there but it was never serious.
“That’s part of meeting someone, though, isn’t it? Thinking you have a connection and going out to get to know each other a bit more.


“But Chantelle is not my girlfriend. I’d like to get into a relationship but I don’t think I’ve got time at the minute, so it would be unfair on the girl.
“I try not to have flings but it’s tough when you’ve been single for 18 months. I’d like to think I maintain respect for any girl I get involved with, though.
“Chantelle and I are friends now. And I am single and free to talk to, text and meet other women — like Kimberley Walsh, who is beautiful.”
Louis added: “The thing about having a crush on a celebrity is that, if you’ve never met them, you are attracted to them but when you meet them it changes.
“Before I met Kimberley I was like, ‘Oh my God, Kimberley from Girls Aloud!’
“But now we’re on the same show, we get on well. We’re like mates. The show is brilliant because if you stick me in front of a camera I’m confident. But I do get shy when I’m talking to good-looking women. I need more practise

Uh-huh.

There isn't a single thing said in that article that bears any resemblence to what the actual headline suggests.

Louis clearly states that Chantelle wasn't a girlfriend, that he is single.... And that he thinks Kimberley is beautiful.

Where in any of that did they get the headline that he ditched his girlfriend and fancies Kimberley or am I missing something?

No wonder he isn't happy at how his words have been twisted.

I'm sure the Sun would never do anything so unseemly.

Their battle with the Daily Sport on the credibilty leaderboard is too important to them.

Why do people believe anything that scummy paper says?

It's obvious the story is so twisted it's nothing like the truth. He says Kimberley is beautiful and they turn it into "he's having a crack at Kimberley". He hasn't "dumped" that other girl, she was never his girlfriend. It looks like he won't even be able to talk to a girl without the tabloids making something out of it.

That's both Victoria and Louis who they've made up stories about and Strictly hasn't even started yet. Both have had to deny the stories on Twitter.

Describing him as a "one night stand jockey" on the basis of the BS in the Sun is ludicrous.

Poor Kimberley is going to have to put up with unwanted attention on Strictly now just like Victoria, how can this get any worse, I just hope Sid doesn't decide to go after Jerry with his joker grin.

When I first read about Louis and this alleged not-girlfriend, I honestly thought "her" name was made up.

Being "famous" really is a double-edged sword and involves swimming in pretty murky, shark-infested waters (how's that for mixed metaphors there).

Which Louis is the real Louis? I dont find it difficult which to believe.

Trying to picture "Chantelle's Hole" in my mind has given me a sleepless night, it is in Cornwall but its called "Mouse Hole", mystery solved.
