Though the downside with her, is that every show she has been on, it doesn't end well for the show. I hope Arrow is the exception to this, otherwise will be left with just SHEILD, and that just isn't right.

Perhaps she should be sent to SHIELD just to jinx it

It was another good episode this week. I think any doubts about Stephen Amell's acting ability should really be put to rest because you (or at least I) really got the feeling that Oliver was worried about Diggle when he was about to go through with the plan to get sent to the jail - the facial expressions said it all.

I did laugh at this from DS's review of the episode ..

No Laurel this week - she was not missed

Yeah she better not jinx Arrow to be fair I think it's doing well enough in the ratings that we should be ok

Agree.

I do like seeing Thea working at the Nightclub - and ya just have to love Russian Prisons.

Liked Patch too. {the one with the patch}

And more of the Back-story, involving Sara - is getting very interesting.

Really enjoyed the episode and didn't even notice that Laurel wasn't in it. Good to see more of Diggle and his back story.
Thoroughly enjoying Season 2

Indeed, what a joy to see David Nykll again, in an atypical semi-villainous role. I haven't seen him in anything since SG:Atlantis.

Arrow Producer 1: "I know, let's find the hottest girl imaginable and then...
Arrow Casting Director: "...put glasses on her! Yeah, that'll make her into a credible IT tech"
Arrow Producer 1: "Our work here is done. Line of coke?"

Well, that Japanese super soldier serum sounds exactly like the power set Deathstroke got in the comics via other means. i guess he'll be acquiring it sometime this season (deliberately or he gets experimented on) and will likely lead to him going...less good guy?

So Flash's backdoor pilot is scrapped and it will just be the pilot for his show. I wonder if Arrow will be short an episode then? I still say the particle accelerator will be responsible, dosing more than just Barry with exotic matter (and thus abilities). Am I wrong to assume there'll be various forms of exotic matter, giving certain people the ability to alter temperatures (Heatwave, Captain Cold), quantum manipulation (Trickster? Mirror? Weather Wizard), an area of the zoo is trapped in a time bubble (or something) and a certain gorilla (s) go through sudden evolution. Will it go full-on DC crazy, or will it just be Barry (crazy powers) fighting mundane everyday bad guys, maybe just time/universe hopping for good measure?

No, there's still three episodes with Barry Allen in as far as I am aware, unless they scrap EP20. I guess they'll just remove whatever they were going to do with S.T.A.R Labs to turn him into The Flash via his back door Arrow pilot and all that stuff will take place in his own series pilot.

And your point was? Because hot girls can't be IT techs? Only IT Techs. wear glasses?

Nah it just reminds me Alone In The Dark, where they try to pretend that Tara Reid is a scientist by having her wear glasses, yet she still talks like she's in Clueless :P

Hmm, not sure about the Merlyn thing. I tend to like dead characters to stay dead, otherwise it is just manipulating the audience and crying wolf.

On another note, the way Oliver killed the Count was absurdly cool.

I didn't

They certainly know how to pull the big shock twists out of the bag on this show!

Probably one of the 'slower' episodes, but still a good one. I do like the way they've essentially turned Slade Wilson in to Deathstroke as well - a nice touch I think.

Until the New 52 the Rogues were techno-villains rather than super-powered so I hope they keep them like that

Never accept someone is dead in a comic book world, invariably they're not, even when the audience has seen the body (which in the case of Merlyn we didn't )
