My guess is that it won't be Merlyn who helps fight Slade but the league of Assassins as Sarah said she was off to see an old friend who I would imagine is either Neesa or Ra's

I don't know, Slade has now kidnapped his daughter & threatened to kill her. She now doesn't have a mother or step father and Merlyn no longer has a son. Time for daddy to step up to the plate. I also believe Sarah will bring in Neesa as well, and also The Huntress will make a reappearance.

My guess is also season 2 will not end with Slade defeated, I just don't see happy endings this season for Arrow.

If Slade is defeated it will be with the cure that they are working on for Roy and that then leaves him open for a return as an anti-hero

I am really liking this show more and more.

Quick question, these scenes on the island now, are they supposed to have taken place in a short period of time or over the 5 years?
Just makes me wonder how they're going to stretch it out in S3.

If the torpedo did what it was supposed to do maybe this is the beginning of them escaping from the island.

I've just thought of a flaw in my question. When Sarah returns, Oliver was surprised, so I presume that she must leave somehow and he gets stuck there again.
