^lol

I wonder who will get him first, Ollie or Merlin?

I wasn't expecting Blood to be bumped off by Slade either. Although when you look back it was probably inevitable.

Call me a nerd but when they asked "if that's not the army, then who is it?" I shouted...

Slade will become a pin cushion of arrows.

Having ARGUS surround the city makes Starling look a lot like Gotham did during DKR

For a second, when he was on the desk, I thought he was going to get up.

Did like Felicity, knocking down Isabel - but it didn't work, hope she does survive the final episode.

I'm guessing, Oliver is going to safe the day.

And Thea meets her Dad...didn't end well. -

Has Isabel taken the miracuru as well? She seems invincible all of a sudden.

Diggle shot her and Slade saved her by using the miracuru.

Been thinking. About the Flash trailer. The STAR labs guy makes it clear he's been looking for Metas. Now, I'm sure there's already been metas in the Arrow verse (Ollie makes it clear he's witnessed some VERY weird **** in his 5 years past), but I assume the Star labs guy is referencing the Flash-verse particle big bang and the resulting metas it creates. This was 9 months ago by Flash episode 1, so probably 6 months on Arrow now (usual 3 month break actually in-universe in these types of shows). It makes me wonder if there's "other" metas walking the city already. The trailer makes it look like this exotic particle effect has spread worldwide. Any thoughts?

finnaly caught up with uk pace in time for the finale!

really good show let down by some BORING island scenes, they really need to scrap them for good. ruin every episode.

present day stuff is funt hough, clearly influenced by nolans batman at every turn but thats no bad thing.

hope the s2 finale is as good as season ones.

I like the island stuff and the link up to the present day and seeing him slowly turn into the Arrow.

Can't wait for the finale but a little sad it's nearly over again.

I like the island stuff as well. I don't feel they over do it and it all links in quite nicely with what is happening in the present and the past, like why the Russian owes him, as they didn't explain it before.

Yes, I think it's quite clever the way we start with all this mystery about his past and about some of the relationships and characters we see in the present and, as the series goes by, the back story gets filled in along with the main story until they all come together at the climax.

I think the Island stuff is pretty exciting in its own right and informs the present day action at the same time. No issue with it from me.

I love Arrow: Year One but feel they put too many spoilers in the show of the future

He loves Felicity. I'm fillin up

So he doesn't really love Felicity. It was a set up.

The past and present fight scene was impressively done, great bit of editing that.

So does he or doesn't he love Felicity. And is this the end of all the island stuff now that he's in Hong Kong? Is he secretly Hong Kong Phooey?

Decent enough finale but they are really stretching out the Oliver/Felicity ship. I would love to see her get her just rewards but if they have no plans for it they should just drop it.

Yeah that was a bit of a 'wtf' moment. Clever for the plot I suppose, but a little disappointing.

I suppose, but I found it jumped a little too much.

Glad to see Roy finally get the mask. Hope we get to see more of that...

And how long ago was that last scene set? HK didn't look like that in '08... looked like it was the late '90s.

And while I'm on stupid questions (I'm not familiar with the original DC work) is A.R.G.U.S. sort of like S.H.E.I.L.D to Marvel? (ie an agency that appears in other DC comics).

Or Hydra. Was that underground prison on the island all along?

I guess it could have been. Its plausable that it wasn't discovered by Slade, Ollie or even Fyers.

Could have been i ARGUS were behind the whole Friers being on the island and sending the ships. It could be their island or it could be they were looking for it and once Ollie left it they turned it into some plant and later prison.
