That conversation between Kurtis and Ragman was a little odd. Are they trying to imply Kurtis has a thing for him? I suppose its more meant to compound Kurtis' bumbling nerd persona - but it just came across as a mixed message.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

If they hadn't already established that Kurtis is married, I'd actually like the idea of a 'will-they-won't-they' between the secondary characters. It'd be far more entertaining that Oliver and Felicity going though all that agiain (as no doubt they probably will).

I think they're trying? I'm getting more into it now - I like Ragman! (But not so sure of the others yet...) I'm even quite liking the flashbacks (which usually drive me mad). And who is Prometheus? (But I'm aching for John and Thea to get their suits back on again - why keep them in the 'suit museum' otherwise? Pretty sure John will soon be back after his army disappointment!) The other thing is the yawning awkward gap between Oliver and Felicity (and that silly boyfriend of hers) - look, just stop messing about, you two!

Where would you take this, anyonefortennis? Bearing in mind the general Arrow premise, it's hard to see how much out of its 'comfort zone' it could go, no?
It would be a great surprise Prometheus is a female villain.

I've just started watching and I picked up on the Kurtis - Ragman conversation but then realised Kurtis was married (I'd worked out he was gay) and lost interest a bit. I would have liked a will-they-won't too.

Anything between Oliver and Felicity is just same old same old

Actually (over thinking it) they did show Curtis later on the phone to his husband and it seemed a tetchy call. Maybe they'll brake them up and....?

No wait, Rory is straight. Pfft. There goes that theory.

I know the editing on this show is usually poor, but even more so in this episode.

I don't mind edits if I don't notice them. These two I noticed

With Barry time traveling changing the time line changed Diggle daughter to a boy, what if one of Arrow's friends from the past has gone bad. Like Prometheus a lady a twist like it's Shado twin sister Mel somehow she's found out what really happened to her father and sister, angry with Oliver not telling her the truth. Tracking Oliver's movements over the years, spending years of training herself, leaning every fighting style there is and with weapons to, waiting for the right for the right time to go after Arrow destroying everything he stands for and kill his friends when the time is right.

I'm getting a bit bored with this now. It seems the same every week. The fight scenes look really choreographed and the stunt guys wearing bad wigs look nothing like the actors.

I'm still enjoying Arrow but it's dropped down my list. I like The Flash and Supergirl because they're quite fun and entertaining, and I'm liking this series of Legends of Tomorrow more than the last one.

I think it might be a female as well, and they are hunting the same people that was on Oliver's list. With the time line changing I was thinking it may be Laurel, but then again she is still been portrayed as dead, not sure if his mum or even his dad are still been treated as dead, have they been mention in this series?

The other possibility of course is that it could be Talia al Ghul.

I still enjoy Arrow, The Flash improved S2, too early to say so far this season, found it a bit hit & miss...Supergirl for me is just rubbish and I have given up on the show. Out of all the shows Legends has much improved on S1, but so did Arrow & The Flash for S2.

They've done well with Nyssa, if they bring in Talia I hope she shines and does well on Arrow.

Another thought to who Prometheus is maybe once was apart of The League of Assassins and because Oliver had Nyssa shut the league down and lost their purpose, he or she angry with Arrow and wants him to pay. I hope Prometheus a lady and if so then Arrow has their first big bad lady villain.

Personally I'm "this close" to giving up on Arrow

I'm staying true as Arrow was my first fave of all these, and I'm going to stick by him! But I agree that they need to ramp things up a bit - get Thea back out from behind that desk for starters! (How is she not totally frustrated, watching the others going off and doing their thing?!) I like the touch at the end - I thought there must be an insider? Pity that she's the least interesting one of them, but I'm happy to see where this goes...

I'm not close to dropping any of these shows as I find them good light entertainment.

I'm not really keen on the new trainees apart from Rory, but it's an improvement on the last season.

I'm actually quite enjoying this season. I like Ragman, Wild Dog and Artemis. I'd watch a show of just those guys. Felicity is annoying. Diggle is alright but kinda redundant. There are more trick arrows this season which is always a bonus.

Having said that, I was thinking back to the first season and I remember some episodes where Ollie was 'caught short' so to speak (I remember one episode in which he had his outfit hidden in a bin) whereas the next few seasons are all 'stand around in the arrow cave, decide what to do, suit up, go out'.

The 'gay' guy is really annoying. He's like a gay Felicity. The actor is not even that convincing playing a gay character. It feels really fake.

Echo Kellum doesn't say if he's gay himself or not (I just looked this up, to see if he was actually faking?) - of course people often read more into such statements ("well, if he won't say, he must be!") - so who knows? However, he DOES have a bad case of 'RDJS' - see below part of one of my posts from the The DC-TVU Thread :-

Finally, a mini-rant - about what I call 'RDJ Syndrome'. In so many superhero shows/films these days, it seems like half the world is copying Robert Downey Jr's unique acting style - that dry, staccato, deadpan delivery that is SO him (RDJ IS Iron Man!). Actors, this is RDJ's own thing, not your thing - so do your own thing! I'm talking to you, Brandon Routh (Ray), Carlos Valdes (Cisco), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity), Echo Kellum (Curtis), and others - you know who you are! Others actors in the shows don't do this, and they manage perfectly well? (Every time a new character turns up suffering from RDJS, I think, "Oh gawd, not another..." This certainly isn't an Arrowverse-only disease - Agents of SHIELD is chock-a-block with RDJS! Clean yourself up, Marvel, your virus is spreading...)

Yes but I hadn't associated it with RDJ before. Someone else from years ago acts like that also. Can't remember who off the top of my head.

I think it probably has its origins in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

It's like how everyone in British comedy became a sort of awkward nerd thanks to Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson in Spaced.

Hugh Grant did it also.

Try and remember - I'd love to know! I mean - who was the first? (Who's been copied by thousands of people in superhero shows?!) I'm still convinced it's RDJ... He actually says it's because he's not a very good actor (hm! ), this could be the perfect excuse for all these youngsters actually not being very good actors! Felicity is one of the best (or worst?!) examples in Arrow - and even Thea has had her moments?

You could be right re Buffy? (And others, including 'teen' shows, of that era.) Re the Brits, I totally get that too!

In a way, this is the fault of the filmmakers and showmakers - they're allowing it to continue, so continue it will. Gabbling your lines out whilst trying to look cocky has infested so many shows now - it's really got rather old. And it's not great acting, kids (you'll never be as good as RDJ, so why try?!)...
