I came across a picture of him accidentally and thought I knew him from somewhere and realized it was infact Beppe fro EastEnders!
He kind of looks like Nico Papadopolas!

here is the link!

I hear that's a common side-effect of getting older.

I was shocked as I haven't seen him or thought about him since he left back in 2002 or something!

Doesn't look that bad to me considering he is 42 now.

When he joined EE he was 28 and left the show when he was 32, of course he is going to look older now, he is middle-aged now.

I wouldn't have recognised him if I just saw that picture randomly somewhere as I've not seen him since he was in Eastenders.

But I wouldn't say he looks irregular for a 42 year old, he looks his age to me.

You're not middle aged until you are 50 really! I think if you're in your 40s then you are seen as being middle aged to somebody who is considerably younger than you, such as people judging you who are still in their teens, 20s - and maybe their early 30s at a real stretch..........

Considering the overall average life expectancy is 80, then 40s is middle aged.
Not that many people live to 100 for you to call 50 the start of middle age.

How many people live to be 100 ?

Surely most healthy people live to be around 80. Meaning 40 is middle age.

Is life expectancy not 77/78 years old these days so surely middle age would officialy start between 37 and 39 years old?

He does look quite older - infact though - I would never had guessed Beppe was as old as he was back in the days he was in the show. Learn something new everyday.

I see what you're saying in theory but have you not heard of the phrase "60 is the new 40", "50 is the new 30" - and so on and so forth! Maybe a bit of "ageing in denial" kidology is involved but I like to think most of us who are presently under 50 (esp. between 40-45!) are not "middle aged" and are going to live to be 100 or more, especially in this day and age - unless we are unhealthy or unfit, of which I'm most definitely neither! True, no matter how fit or healthy you are, one could get struck down by a bus tomorrow - or even suffer a stroke, a heart attack or from cancer but I never think negative!

If you're under 30 then there'd probably be something wrong if you didn't think that - but if you're over 30 with that view.....then everyone's entitled to their own opinion I suppose! I think judgement of somebody's age bracket is all subjective and/or relative to your present age.....

^^^ Why are you taking "middle-aged" as some kind of insult or stigma.

It's not about opinion, but fact.

There's all sorts of phrases about 50 new 40 but it doesn't change the names of age ranges, a teenager is a teenager and middle aged is middle aged.
Regardless of how young you feel your average life expectancy is still the same.

60 the new 40? Are you kidding? Point me in the direction of people living to 120.

Bloody hell I was expecting some grey old man, he still looks good for a middle aged guy. I hope I can look as good and healthy when I get to his age.
