Lets assume that BBUK had a final 2 format similar to that of 'Survivor' ie. A jury of seven contestants ranging from 3rd place to 9th vote each cast a vote for the winner. How would this have changed the results of the show if at all.

I'll do some as an example:

I think your guesses are good, but I wouldn't like it. A lot of the excitement of the final is in the public vote. A housemates' vote just seems rather random, and would put a lot of power into the hands of housemates who might be very unpopular indeed with the public. I can't envisage much joy and happiness, for example, in seeing Rachel Rice lose because of the votes of minnows like Nicole and Stuart, and your example nearly sees great british treasures like Anton and Jemma making Jay win; all it would have taken would be for, say, Alex to hold a grudge about Aaron missing most of her birthday party.

I'd probably make a few changes to those myself:

BB13 - probably nit-picking but I reckon Scott would've gone for Luke. Don't think they barely even had a conversation but he must have connected with him better than Adam. Result: Adam wins 4-3 (Luke S/Ashleigh/Conor/Becky - Deana/Sara/Scott)

BB11 - Think Steve would definitely go for Dave, they were good mates and I don't think Steve respected Josie all that much. Corin and Andrew are a bit up-in-the-air but think they would likely go Josie's way. I get the feeling Mario might have also gone for Josie, he and Dave were not close at all during the 2nd half of the show. Dave was always giving Mario a hard time over plotting. Result: Josie wins 6-1 (Mario/JJ/Andrew/Sam/Corin/JohnJames - Steve)

BB9 - Even though Nicole and Mikey didn't like eachother, I think she had more respect for him than Rachel. She couldn't bear Rachel and wouldn't have thought she deserved to win. Result: Rachel wins 4-3 (Rex/Darnell/Kat/Mo - Sara/Lisa/Nicole)

BB8 - I don't think people like Carole and Tracey were that certain to go for the twins, plus Ziggy and Liam were closer to Brian than they were the twins.
I mean could you imagine Samanda's jury speech? Whereas Brian has shown himself to be quite strategical, especially being invited on BOTS so many times. Think he could have got more respect than Samanda who would've just floated along being nice, but winning over all those votes seems too much of a task. Result: Samanda win 5-2 (Liam/Ziggy/Jonty/Kara/Gerry - Carole/Tracey)

BB7 - Jennie was much closer to Glyn, they were the two youngest housemates and were like brother and sister, so I'd say she was a cert for him. Susie's a bit unpredictable, even though she had tension with Glyn, she would have likely been more sympathetic to his 'journey', and she also had NOTHING in common with Pete. However, she'd have followed Richard's lead me thinks. Result: Pete wins 4-3 (Aisleyne/Richard/Nikki/Susie - Jennie/Imogen/Mikey)

BB6 - I don't think Orlaith and Eugene liked eachother at all really. She certainly liked Anthony much more. Result: Eugene wins 4-3 (Kinga/Derek/Kemal/Science - Makosi/Craig/Orlaith)

CBB10 - Lorenzo and Danica were much more fond of Coleen than Julian, Lorenzo even said he wanted her to win. Result: Coleen wins 4-3 (Ashley/Harvey/Lorenzo/Danica - Martin/Situation/Julie)
Although I do wonder if either Ashley/Harvey would've questioned whether Coleen played that well and that she maybe supported Danica too much. I mean Harvey seemed obsessed with doing anything against Danica, so maybe he'd go so far as to purposely vote differently than her. Plus, maybe all HAM would vote the same way, and I don't think the Situation respected Coleen's game much.
Result: Julian wins 5-2 (Martin/Situation/Ashley/Harvey/Julie - Lorenzo/Danica)

CBB9 - I don't think it would've been that easy for Frankie. I reckon Denise would have got a vote of respect from people like Gareth and Romeo, as Romeo found Frankie's dirty talk quite off-putting. K+K also seemed to find Frankie quite a turn-off, but they had that whole pantsgate drama with Denise, so who knows. Result: Frankie wins 4-3 (Michael/K+K/Nicola/Kirk - Gareth/Romeo/Natalie)

CBB8 - Paddy was Darryn's best mate, so he would be a cert for him. Plus Amy was very much in the Darryn camp, and had that tension with Kerry over Lucien, so a possibly bitter vote from her I think. Result: Paddy wins 4-3 (Amy/Darryn/Bobby/Tara - Jedward/Lucien/Pamela)

CBB7 - I think Vinnie wouldn't have wanted Alex to win, he never seemed to respect him, so seeing him win would probably bug him too much. Plus Nicola and Sisqo were much closer to Dane, even though after the show Nicola acknowledged why Alex deserved to win. Result: Alex wins 4-3 (Jonas/Stephanie/Ivana/Stephen - Vinnie/Nicola/Sisqo)

CBB6 - I don't think Ulrika and Latoya got on at all. Latoya would likely have gone for Terry. Result: Terry wins 5-2 (Coolio/Verne/Ben/Latoya/Tommy - Michelle/Mutya)

CBB5 - Dirk was quite taken by Shilpa, and he kept nominating Jermaine, so I reckon he would have for sure been all for Shilpa winning. Plus Danielle got much closer to Shilpa in the last week, and I think she would have flipped her way maybe as an apologetic vote. I doubt the others would have though, having Jermaine at the end would be a bad move for anyone in this sort of game. Result: Jermaine wins 4-3 (Jack/Cleo/Jo/Jade - Dirk/Ian/Danielle)
Though I'm sure after knowing about the racial controversy some of them had been involved in, that a vote for Shilpa would have been great PR in the end.

It's an interesting idea, though like wonkey I prefer the way it works atm (despite everything).

BB12 would be one thing and BB9 another but CBB5, my God, Channel 4 execs would have been weeping in cupboards over that.

The result would depend heavily on whether Jo, Jade and Cleo had had access to their agents before they were asked. I can imagine Ms Shetty being rather puzzled to receive bucket loads of gushing, fulsome praise before she f*cked off home with the win...

I suspect Anna would have won BB1 on this system (Craig was nominated so many more times), assuming the transplant thing wasn't known about. Claire would want Craig to win, obviously, but Mel would want Anna, and the other votes would break Anna's way overall.

The Survivor and Big Brother USA jury formats are the same, i'd like the UK show to take on the USA format entirely.

I think there's certainly some players from BBUK who would be better at BBUS, Makosi and Grace instantly come to mind. It was the public that did them in, before then they were practically running things.

Since I'm in the mood, I think the remaining series would end up like this:

UBB: Brian vs Nikki
Chantelle - Brian
Victor - Brian
Nick - Brian
Preston - Brian
Ulrika - Brian
Vanessa - Nikki
Michelle - Brian
Brian wins 6-1

Hijack: Emilia vs John
Amy - Emilia
Anthony - John
Jeremy - Emilia
Nathan - John
Calista - Emilia
Jay - John
Latoya - John
John wins 4-3 (eww)

BB4: Cameron vs Ray
Scott - Ray
Steph - Cameron
Nush - Ray
Lisa - Ray
Gos - Cameron
Tania - Ray
Jon - Cameron
Ray wins 4-3

BB3: Jonny vs Kate
Alex - Kate
Jade - Jonny
Tim - Kate
PJ - Jonny
Adele - Kate
Sophie - Jonny?
Spencer - Kate
Kate wins 4-3

BB2: Brian vs Helen
Dean - Brian
Elizabeth - Brian
Paul - Helen
Josh - Helen
Amma - Helen
Bubble - Brian
Narinder - Brian
Brian wins 4-3

BB1: Anna vs Craig
Darren - Anna
Mel - Anna
Claire - Craig
Tom - Craig
Nichola - Anna
Nick - Craig (depends if it's a respect or bitter vote for catching him)
Caroline - Anna
Anna wins 4-3

CBB1 and 2 is too complicated to do unless only 3 housemates comprise the jury, as you risk a tie having 4.
CBB2: Les vs Mark
Melinda - Les
Sue - Mark
Anne - Mark
Mark wins 2-1 I guess *shrugs*

CBB1: Claire vs Jack
Keith - Jack (respect for his game?)
Anthea - Claire
Vanessa - Claire
Claire wins 2-1

Just thought for completion sakes here is a Rylan vs Speidi Final 2:

Toadie: Rylan
Claire: Rylan
Razor: Rylan
Tricia: Rylan
Frankie: Rylan
Gillian: Rylan
Lacey: Rylan

Frankie and Lacey are the only attempts at Speidi getting votes, but the likelyhood is that Rylan wins in a landslide.

Didn't Lacey say she wanted to punch them?

You know you're in trouble if the person most likely to vote in your favour wants to knock you out.

No, I don't like it because it means the public's favourite may not actually win. Could you imagine the outrage if Dave had won over Josie, despite Josie getting 77% of the public vote?

It just doesn't work. People's money is wasted for nothing.

It's not a format to be taken seriously, it's just a hypothetical what if scenario.

And the argument that the public not being involved would be a bad thing is wrong, Richard Hatch was the most unpopular contestant in the original Survivor and still won, and now is arguably considered the greatest winner ever.

Personally I've always thought that the fact the viewing public was not involved in deciding who won was one of the reasons that the UK version of Survivor only lasted two seasons.

BTW I could be wrong but isn't the overall winner of BBUS decided by a vote from other HMs

The OP wasn't suggesting this should happen, it's just a little bit of fun. Also, what money? If it followed this format, the public wouldn't vote, in which case the final two would be very different in most cases. But, in answer to the OP:

(From those I've seen):

BB7:
Aisleyne: Pete
Richard: Pete
Nikki: Pete
Jennie: Pete
Imogen: Glyn
Susie: Pete
Mikey: Glyn

Pete wins, 5-2.

BB8:
Liam: Brian
Ziggy: Brian
Carole: Amanda & Sam
Jonty: Amanda & Sam
Kara-Louise: Amanda & Sam
Tracey: Brian
Gerry: Amanda & Sam

Amanda & Sam win, 4-3.

BB9:
Sara: Michael
Rex: Rachel
Darnell: Rachel
Kathreya: Rachel
Mohamed: Rachel
Lisa: Michael
Nicole: Michael

Rachel wins, 4-3.

BB10:
David: Sophie
Charlie: Sophie
Rodrigo: Sophie
Lisa: Sophie
Marcus: Siavash
Bea: Sophie
Freddie: Siavash

Sophie wins, 5-2.

BB11:
Mario: Dave
JJ: Josie
Andrew: Dave
John James: Josie
Sam: Josie
Corin: Josie
Steve: Dave

Josie wins, 4-3.

BB12:
Alex: Jay
Louise: Jay
Tom: Aaron
Faye: Aaron
Harry: Aaron
Anton: Jay
Aden: Jay

Jay wins, 5-2. (Excluded Jem, assuming that walkers don't go to the jury.)

BB13:
Deana: Adam
Sara: Luke A
Luke S: Adam
Ashleigh: Adam
Scott: Luke A
Becky: Adam

Adam wins, 4-3.

Most of these are probably wrong but whatever.

I'm assuming that's a typo and you think Tom would vote for Jay??

Personally I think that would have been highly likely after the kerfuffle over Jay and Louise deciding to spend £500 of their share of the 50 grand for a birthday present for Alex

Alex and Tom would be definate swing votes in the BB12 votes. Harry and Faye are locks for Aaron with Anton, Louise and Jem/ Aden as locks for Jay. If Alex/ Tom voted based on the show overall they would lean towards Aaron, as they voted with him more often then not against the Wolfpack, but if they took the present stuff to heart and voted based on spite Jay takes the win.

Presentgate took place only a few days before the final so it would have been very fresh in their minds

Not a typo. I think Tom would vote for Aaron. Just my opinion, we'll never know of course.

Fair enough, I just thought it was a typo cos you had the final score as 5-2 in favour of Jay rather than 4-3

I think the OP means that the public vote for the whole duration of the show and vote for the top 2, with the other HM's voting for the winner.

That's the impression I got anyway, and that would probably be a better format.

He was there. We have pictures of him dancing and video clip of him, Tom and Alex playfighting that night. The fact that they showed him going out for a cig and sitting out a dance or two while he got something to eat then cutting to later on after the party with Jay ranting about Aaron to an unterested Talex obviously creates the idea to the viewer he missed her party but that's not really what happened.

Alex wouldn't hold a grudge over something that didn't happen. What might swing her vote would be the Geordie pride thing that Jay was repeatedly drumming up but she did seem closer to Aaron.

Tom might also be a bit of a wildcard. Despite the fact that he prided himself on being upfront and his own person his attempts to stand out while probably in his head grand they were pretty feeble. More often than not he followed the crowd and did seem concerned with what the public thought. Not to mention that he himself on OKTV said that despite his own personal feelings of living with him people had told him things about Aaron that made him feel he couldn't trust him. He also made a big deal to Jay once about never nominating him because he was "salt of the earth" forgetting that he had nommed him prior but it's possible this would have been a consideration.

I though I would post some new scenarios where applicable for the jury votes for the more recent format of Survivor with a three person finale and a jury of nine:

BB13: Luke vs Adam vs Deana
Sara: Deana
Luke S: Adam
Ashleigh: Adam
Scott: Adam
Conor: Adam
Becky: Adam
Caroline: Deana
Lauren: Adam
Shievonne: Deana
Adam wins 6-3-0

BB12: Aaron vs Jay vs Alex
Louise: Jay
Tom: Alex
Faye: Aaron
Harry: Aaron
Jem: Alex
Anton: Jay
Aden: Jay
Maisy: Aaron
Mark: Aaron
Aaron wins 4-3-2

BB11: Josie vs Dave vs Mario
JJ: Josie
Andrew: Josie
Steve: Dave
Sam Pepper: Josie
Corin: Mario
John-James: Josie
Jo: Josie
Rachel: Josie
Ben: Dave
Josie wins 6-2-1

BB10: Sophie vs Siavash vs David
Charlie: Sophie
Rodrigo: Sophie
Lisa: David
Marcus: Siavash
Bea: Siavash
Freddie: Siavash
Hira: Sophie
Isaac: Sophie
Noirin: Siavash
4-4-1 tie, the assumption would be that Lisa would break the tie, the likelyhood being that she would vote for Sophie between her and Siavash.

BB9: Rachel vs Mikey vs Sara
Rex: Rachel
Darnell: Rachel
Kat: Rachel
Mo: Rachel
Lisa: Mikey (Tough call between him and Sara)
Nicole: Sara
Stuart: Sara
Dale: Sara
Luke: Mikey
Rachel wins 4-3-2

BB8: Belo vs Samanda vs Liam
Ziggy: Liam
Carole: Liam
Jonty: Samanda
Kara-Louise: Samanda
Tracy: Samanda
Gerry: Samanda
Amy: Liam
David: Samanda
Shanessa: Samanda
Samanda win 6-3-0

BB7: Pete vs Glyn vs Aisleyne
Richard: Pete
Nikki: Pete
Jennie: Pete
Imogen: Glyn
Susie: Pete
Mikey: Glyn
Spiral: Aisleyne
Michael: Pete
Jayne: Pete
Pete wins 6-2-1

BB6: Anthony vs Eugene vs Makosi
Kinga: Anthony
Craig: Anthony
Derek: Eugene
Orlaith: Anthony
Kemal: Makosi
Science: Makosi
Vanessa: Makosi
Maxwell: Anthony
Saskia: Anthony
Anthony wins 5-3-1

BB5: Nadia vs Jason vs Dan
Shell: Dan
Stuart: Nadia
Michelle: Nadia
Victor: Jason
Ahmed: Jason
Becki: Nadia
Marco: Nadia
Vanessa: Jason
Emma: Nadia
Nadia wins 5-3-1

Interesting, though not to nit-pick I would make the odd few changes.

BB10 - I think Hira would have voted David, they had much more in common, especially since Sophie was one of the main ones who thought Hira was fake.
Bea could have voted Sophie, since their relationship was much smoother than Bea/Siavash. Marcus and Noirin would have a tough time voting Siavash, but they both disliked the other 2 more so I guess they would vote for him. lol

BB9 - I think Stuart and Dale would vote Mikey, they were all for him at the final, hence why they couldn't believe Rachel won.

BB8 - Think Tracey would have voted Brian, possibly Amy too as they were quite close. Amy was treated poorly by Liam, but I can't remember how bitter she was about it though.

BB7 - Jennie was rooting for Glyn at the final, as was Jayne (she thought Pete was dull). Also Spiral was very close to Glyn and was all bitter and twisted at Aisleyne on his eviction. Michael was one of Aisleyne's closest friends whereas Pete couldn't bear him.

BB5 - Shell was championing Nadia to win at the final. Stuart would have voted for Jason for being a Jungle Cat. Plus I remember Vanessa on the final BBLB was supporting everyone but Jason, so she really wasn't keen on him anymore. She would for sure have voted for Dan.

I wouldn't like all the format to be the same as BB USA! I do like some of their format though, POV, HOH, For me it gives the housemates the chance to get themselves out of being up for eviction. So they have a bit more of a chance of staying & also would add more to the whole show & not as it is now, The popular group picking off the rest!

Updating this with the BB14 combinations:

Final 2: Sam vs Dexter
Gina: Dexter
The Twins: Sam
Charlie: Dexter (Although she seemed quite resentful toward Dex in the moments after being evicted so I could imagine her voting for Sam had she of been sequestered)
Sophie: Sam
Hazel: Sam
Callum: Sam
Dan: Dexter

Depending on Charlie Sam wins 5-2 or 4-3

Final 3: Sam vs Dexter vs Gina
The Twins: Sam
Charlie: Gina
Sophie: Gina
Hazel: Sam
Callum: Sam
Dan: Gina
Jackie: Sam
Wolfy: Gina
Jemima: Sam
Sam wins 5-4-0

I would hate that if they did it.

Because imagine if it was like BB13, two groups, one disliked, one liked. We got most of the disliked ones out and the majority of the liked group are in the final. There will always be one member of the dislikeable group in there, what if they make the final 2? With most of the disliked group out, they will give the vote to the member of their group and not the other.

For example, imagine if for BB13 it was Luke A/Luke S.

Victoria- Luke A
Chris- Luke A
Benedict- Luke A
Lydia- Luke S
Arron- Luke S
Shiv- Luke S
Lauren- Luke A
Caroline- Luke S
Conor- Luke S
Becky- Luke S
Scott- Luke S
Ashleigh- Luke S

Luke S wins 8 vs. 4. Depressing
