The polls are really weird today. The Internetforum poll has has G4 in the lead for days but Steve is well in the lead as of this morning and yet the GMTV poll (which doesn't allow multiple voting as far as I can see either contrary to popular belief on DS) has swung hugely the other way.

I still think Steve is the favourite but our boys are in with a good chance too I think.

So if Steve fans are multi voting and G4 fans can't well what can I say

....according to the bookies G4 slightly ahead at the moment (and their odds are shortening all the time), Steve`s are drifting slightly. But so close at the moment.

I can't wait for tomorrow, it's going to be so intense!

I tried yesterday too but it wouldn't let me. Are you sure it registered the second time cos the same box comes up but at the top instead of Your vote has been counted (or words to that effect) it says your vote has already been counted.

Or did you clear out cookies and stuff like that to make it vote again. I can't be doing with all that stuff

I think the ITV publicity team are multivoting on all the polls to increase voting revenue.

Funny how on the GMTV website the poll now says Steve with 58% and G4 with 42% - same as before Entertainment Today started......very bizarre!?!?!?!?!?

It was only during the show that the % were almost even.....

LMAO! This poll is definitely rigged. It swung by about 10% again in the space of 20 seconds. ITV really are pushing the "really close" thing as much as they can.

The GMTV poll has made me doubt how genuine this competition actually is. As soon as Entertainment Today started "somebody" probably ITV hacked it and took G4s percentage all the way from 41% to 51% in a matter of about 3 seconds. As the day went on, Steve took the lead again, until "someone" hacked the poll yet again and took G4 back to 51% in about 3 seconds.

This Morning also stopped taking their popularity poll after Steve topped it by some margin every week.

I won't be watching the final. The outcome has already been decided.

Is that why G4 are the slim favourites with every almost bookmaker? They're not idiots you know.

This reminds me so much of the first Pop Idol, I was a Gareth fan and he had been top in all the polls forever and as it got nearer to the day suddenly Will topped the GMTV poll, only just but I couldn't believe it. I agree that it is going to be close whatever happens.

G4 - 36%
Steve - 64%

That poll's bizarre, half an hour ago it was almost 50-50.

Bookmaker's odds are a far better source, they have to know what they're talking about or they'd be out of business.

I can't get on the poll at all for some reason now. It won't open for me. Says its a restricted site. I've changed all my settings but just can't get on to it.

Very odd.

Glad the boys are doing well in the bookies but I'd still prefer they were the underdogs, too much pressure otherwise and people dont bother to vote.
