There's good money in this show for the Ball family. They'll be getting cousin Bobby in on the act next!

If anyone has the moves like Jagger, Jerry should!

Well she sure knows how Jagger 'moves'

Gutted for Victoria.
I'd have had Johnny and Jerry below her
I agree. She was very nervous and went wrong a few times but she had more content in the rest of her routine than Johnny and Jerry put together.

The pace of the show was much better, and I even caught glimpses of the band.

Jerry has good co-ordination.

Best joke.
Tess "Have we saved the best to last?"
Anton "Not really."

I hope Johnny's dancing is partly a reflection of the scrambled training he has had.

I thought that was awfully rude thing to say. And after all that posing he did with Jerry.

It was funny though. . Thought Darcey asking Craig if he'd looked at Louis' face was funnier.

Friday was at times uncomfortable and the quality of dance generally disappointing throughout. Tonight was Strictly at its best - some great surprises and lovely moments.

I couldn't stop laughing at Brucie at the end with his cock-up, "One of those couples who gets voted next week will be back next week." Errr

Have just watched yesterday's programme again. However, trying to see this evening's, as I missed the last quarter of an hour, it wants me to click on something to do with parental guidance http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...Week_1_Show_2/

parental guidance on the BBC site should let you click the over 16 or over 18 option if someone else hasn't done the password

And Bruno saying the same thing as Darcey!

Mind you- I didn't look at his face much either.... or Pasha's or Colin's.... yes Strictly Shallowness Fever returns!

I might be out tomorrow night and Saturday so I'll be playing catch up with both shows. I think I'm going to have to get used to it as a few of my weekends will be taken up this autumn.
I'm the same

He certainly will. He'd probably dance better without the constraints of clothes though.

Indeed!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but watching the Waltz Nicky and Karen did, where was the lift Craig went mad about? I watched it twice but cannot see it.

It's right at the beginning of the performance, in the first twenty seconds. There's an opening 'swoosh' where he spins her around a bit and then comes the lift.

Thank you, I thought I was going mad as I didn't see that myself. Thought Craig was a bit harsh for a first night on them, but then he is always quite harsh on people. Sometimes with good justification.

Although I often agree with what Craig says he is not consistent. He can be very picky with some celebs yet he overlooks faults in others. On Frid. he failed to mention the lack of heel leads or posture in Denise's routine. Why? However when there is an illegal lift he really goes to town. He never gives more than a 2 when there is an illegal lift. The others probably took one mark off for the lift.

Because Craig, like the rest of the judges, always has a person he champions and this year it appears to be DvO- just m opinion!

Maybe also it was because he knew Len would say it!

Craig could never see any faults in Emma Bunton, when she had a clonking big error in the jive all he said was 'you know how I feel about you, you're terrific' and was fulsome over her foxtrot even though she did absolutely no correct footwork.

He is just as biased as the others, though I still have a tiny hope for Darcey. His memory also does him no favours, he slagged off Darren G's latin on ITT though he scored him highly at the time.

Rewatching some of the week 1 dances again

Louis confuses me. He looks lost and bewildered for most of the dance (there's a real "oh shyte, I'm lost" look in places)
