I'm gonna be going to see this purely for Christopher Walken!

going to see this tomorrow also..
In Bruges was AWESOME, i raved about it, saw it in the cinema, bought it on dvd and watched it about 4 or 5 times but anyone (apart from my wife) i watched it with just didnt get it, so nice to see some appreciation for it here..

Also Martin Mc Donagh wrote the equally excellent the Guard and his brother directed it and starts Brendan Gleeson, perfect we fix if your waiting for seven psychopaths i reckon

Watched 'Seven Psychopaths' earlier this evening and really enjoyed it, didn't think it was as good as 'In Bruges' but still thought it was very decent indeed.

Performance wise, Sam Rockwell & Christopher Walken deserve a special mention but everyone involved was, at the very least, solid.

I will say that I'd be surprised if this flick gets universally great reviews, it is pretty quirky and subsequently won't be to everyone's taste...

I thought it was fantastic and i agree with you it wont be to everyones taste, but the quirkiness and the dryness of the humour just really appealed to me, but like in bruges i will watch it a few more times and enjoy it again..

It has a good cast, wasn't Mickey Rourke supposed to be in it?

saw it tonight (massive fan of in bruges by the way). Didnt like it much it all, none of the characters were particularly engaging or likeable in that anti-hero kinda way. The plot (or lack thereof) just didn't work although i get the 'adaptation' style vibe Mcdonagh was going for. Some snappy dialogue sprinkled throughout but couldn't save it for me. Big disappointment

I am in two minds over this film as don't feel that it is worth going to the cinema for. It turns out that the Americans get it on Blu-ray next month, so am tempted to see if Netflicks usa gets it then as well.

yeah, had conflicts with a producer and was quickly replaced.

proof that no one is bigger than the movie.

The cast consisting of: Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell has me sold, will probably watch this tomorrow.
