Mm. I just sort of skim read some stuff today, and that was the impression I got. It doesn't really bother me that much, but it's just funny how differently people perceive things.

what unnerves me of doug is that he stays with ste even if he thinks ste is in love with brendan or anyway that he isn't being a good boyfriend. why he doesn't grow a pair and break up with him? why making the life of everyone a hell?

Like it reminded me of the way he looked at Brendan on ILY day. That pout.

I love Ste's face at Doug before he goes after Brendan.

Oh that reminds me, I was chatting to a casual HO fan today who just saw Riley's death and cried and we got onto Ste and Brendan and she was like "Please tell me they get back together, they have to!" - I'm always so surprised when I hear people in real life that aren't big fans say it!

Oh god, I proper wanted to see him smack Doug.

But I loved the sassy finger point.

I like how he still gets angry, and it's still all there, just bubbling away, but he manages to control it.

They had better not eff this up. It's all so perfect right now.

That gets me too guadalupe, if Doug really thinks that Ste is still in love with Brendan then why is he hanging around, of course it can be excused because Doug loves Ste.

But when Brendan hangs around because he loves Ste he is a psycho.

It's such a confusing mess of a storyline, they really need to sort it out.

It's weird. Ste and Doug are just totally unalike really. Ste gets angry, lets rip, and he can seem pissy, but it's really just because it's all on the surface with him, his feelings are plain as day. Doug seems sneaky by comparison, with his little digs and his sarcasm. I know which I prefer. Give me Ste's flare-ups that are over as soon as they've started over Doug's sullenness any day. Maybe that's why Ste gets criticized, because he flies off the handle, and Doug just pouts. But basically, Ste could be a living saint and he'd still be damned to hell for some people.

Speaking of controlling anger, I love that after Doug's so vile to him, Brendan looks like he's about to say/do something then looks at Ste and chooses to walk away. I just really like that.

Oh, that's great. I really do think that showing that connection between them again, and for more than one episode, has made all the difference.

He looked at Ste's little warning, pleading face, and let it go.

I love the noise Ste makes right at the end as Brendan walks away.

God, I love that. I really did.

And when Ste's like 'Brendan please right...' as he chases after him and Brendan just flat out says 'Stay away from me, I'm no good for you.' As heart breaking as it is, I adore it. He's so honest. He's never done that before and it just shows how much he's grown.

I never ever thought I would say this but...I hope Stug get back together after Doug returns.

If they split then I would be concerned about the 'emotional' scenes today that they were filming.

If Ste had cried for Brendan to stay, he wouldn't have been able to leave him.

I stopped caring a long time ago what people think of Brendan, Ste or us, but I did just find the difference in opinion about Ste/Doug interesting.

There should be no reason at all why they get back together. Except Ste settling cos he thinks Brendan's given up on him.

I do really think the next time Ste and Doug break up, it'll be for good.

And that makes me happy.

Do we reckon that we'll get any Brendan or Ste tomorrow? They're not in spoilers but if Brendan leaves for a bit then surely there must be a leaving scene? Or are we meant to just guess?

I just can't see why ste would be with doug after today. he should make his mind up too. maybe brendan pushes ste furter away and ste decides to stay with doug becuase it's safe but still I'm not convinced tbh the thought of them still being togheter in december annoys me to no end
