Do we reckon that we'll get any Brendan or Ste tomorrow? They're not in spoilers but if Brendan leaves for a bit then surely there must be a leaving scene? Or are we meant to just guess?

There should be no reason at all why they get back together. Except Ste settling cos he thinks Brendan's given up on him.

The thing is now would be a good time for Ste to learn independence, because everyone has left him, he has nobody to depend on right now.
But they've taken him offscreen. Le sigh. |

I'm loving all the tweets you are getting about the Doug black hole Ayla, tell them to suck it up, there was a time we were getting that every bloody month.
Not to mention prison Brendan. ![]() And when they get a black hole as long as ours they can go and talk to the Chryed fans and find out what it's really like to be hard done by. ![]() Maybe they weren't around when Doug disappeared for weeks on end Quote:
Speaking of controlling anger, I love that after Doug's so vile to him, Brendan looks like he's about to say/do something then looks at Ste and chooses to walk away. I just really like that.

I really don't want them dragging this on, sadly I feel like I have been saying this forever.
I don't know if I will ever get back to how I used to feel about Doug, this storyline has pretty much destroyed him for me and if they keep it going, with Ste using Doug as back up then I can't see myself being able to go back to liking him either. I know TPTB have invested in this triangle shite but they also did with the whole Riley thing and they cut that dead. Stop it now, and let them all move on. Give Brendan and Ste a chance, yeah the relationship will probably difficult and probably toxic in parts but just bite the bullet and do it. |

Oh I see. Thanks for clearing that up. x)
Also, with the emotional Stug scenes... the 'it's been emotional' felt a bit like... 'it's been a fun ride', like it was the end. That's what made me think that perhaps they'll break up... it would explain why it was RTd by Kieron and PJ. |

Yeah I have to admit I thought the same as you, Zippy.
It's been emotional sounded more like final curtain call, nail in the coffin, over and out type thing. Like the end, basically.

It's weird how this week has been a million times better than I ever expected it to be.
Even after all the good stuff I really thought it would end on a bad note and it didn't. It ended on a brilliant high. Someone said earlier on Twitter or something the minute Brendan gave Ste up was the moment Doug lost. It's so accurate I can't even cope. |

I never ever thought I would say this but...I hope Stug get back together after Doug returns.
If they split then I would be concerned about the 'emotional' scenes today that they were filming. |

It might take a while, but we will get Stendan. The thought of Stug doesn't bother me as much right now. |

I've posted my next chapter of the one about the time leading up to the deli scam. I think it's a bit of a plodding one.

Glad everyone agrees, I think it's one of the best things I've heard about this whole situation.
Mainly because it reminded me of that story where 2 women wanted this baby and the man offered to cut it in half so both could have a part. One agreed and then the other didn't and said that the other women could have it so they baby could go unharmed. The story ended with the one willing to give up the baby being able to keep it as it was a test to see who cared about the baby the most. The baby went to the women who was selfless. Ste's that baby and Brendan is the one willing to give it up so no harm will come to it

And this is Brendan learning how to love, too, isn't it?
I thought Walker had scared that out of him, but he's done quite the opposite. If you love someone, set them free, and all that mushy stuff. *cries* |

Exactly. It's only a sacrifice BECAUSE Brendan loves so much.
![]() He's learning how to love properly. And he's doing it so well. *sniffs* I hope Ste holds his hand at Lynsey's funeral, or summat. ![]() Another hug wouldn't go a-miss.
