So at the moment I'm juggling Burns Money mountain, the Old Jewish Mans questline, the IRS and Monorail, as well as trying to get to Level 58! My Heights is still way behind too, but I've lost interest in that, plus I need something to keep me going when the events aren't on and I'm done with this lot!

I'm trying to at least get my Monorail in shape before Haloween!

Even when this game becomes a grind I am still hopelessly addicted to it.

Just one more tap.....

Gives me something to spend my money on (I had about 8 million sitting doing nowt before this) and makes collecting taxes and finishing jobs faster. I like it.

Now all we need is to visit all friends with a single tap

Ah that's fair enough! I only have 100k, so 500k for the next upgrade seems a bit steep.

Wait until you get to the level 8 upgrade - it cost 5 million. 9 costs 7m.

Once you are up to the latest level and have an established town there really isn't much to spend your money on so it mounts up quite fast.

If you new to the game and not at max level I would wait on fully upgrading things like the IRS.

Yep, me too. Things like that and the Burns money mountain can wait till there's nothing else to spend money on.

My game just had a major meltdown.

Went to start some Springfield Heights jobs and it said I needed to unlock characters that I already have.

The characters were already wandering around and their buildings were still in place. However, it offered me the option to purchase Channel 6 again, so I gave it a try to see if I could have more than one. The game went nuts and it wiped a load of my buildings,

Missing stuff seems random, but thought I'd give you guys the heads up just in case it's a bug.

When I started up the game yesterday it just gave me Homer standing in an empty town surrounded by nuclear waste, just like the very start. This happens now and again, even though I never log out from my account, but normally it is easy to log in again. I had to force close the game and even then I wasn't presented with the Origin log in screen until I reset my phone!

Also, the Employment office tasks where you can send people automatically on jobs....I use it sometimes but every time it seems to ignore about 10 characters who are wandering about doing nothing. This is annoying as I then need to send them on tasks individually.

I assume you are on Android as this is a known bug on Android and is being looked into.

Also, characters with yellow tasks (can't think how to describe them!) aren't sent on jobs via the employment office to give you the option of fulfilling the required task.

Funny how out of all the mobile games around this is the one which has a thread that keeps going on here.

I'm still having issues with my game (EA support case open).

For now I won't be visiting friends towns, but will be back on ASAP.

I was hoping to get to level 58 before Halloween but I'm so close to it (within 7k XP) that I'll just take the plunge. Manually downloading it now from the store!

I'm going to put full effort into this one, having been a bit laid back about recent events and missed out on a fair number of prizes! Halloween and Christmas usually give out some good stuff, so I'm fully focused!

Is it just me or are the zombie creatures channeling Michael Jackson this year?

Back playing again after my glitch -it was the monorail track over water tiles that was causing it.

Looks like the Halloween update is going to be another grinder. I haven't seen any prizes that appeal to me yet either.
