The boardwalk pieces are ridiculously expensive.

I'm glad I've finished the other side of the game. It would be hard doing both.

There's a guy on my friends list that has a full, fully kitted out boardwalk. 4 big wheels, all the performers, the lot. Either he/she has spent a fortune on donuts or they've been glitching big time.

I'm still working through the game without purchasing add ons or trying any glitches.

Just started building the Frying Dutchman, but it's frustrating as the boardwalk sections unlock so slowly I've had to squeeze it in, rather than place in an aesthetically pleasing way.

Fair enough they should run this at a pace to keep the interest going, but would've been good if they had co-ordinated space in relation to unlocks.

Yeah I agree, there is a real danger of people losing interest at this rate! I want to spend time redesigning my town but having to save every penny to build the boardwalk now, I can't even continue the main tasks until I get more of this done, it's all slowed down a bit too much for me.

It's goes upto 2d12h for one I think
It seriously gets that high? Mine have been on 24 hours for a few days and I figured that was it. I kind of get why they want to add times to building the boardwalk pieces, but 2 and a half days for one tiny piece is ridiculous!

It also brings about serious logistical problems about whoever in Springfield is making those things, as they can seemingly build houses, shops and stadiums in 24 hours, but take 60 hours to put together a few pieces of wood!

I'm on Squidport part 13 task - where you need to have built a total of 21 boardwalk sections. I have 18 and they are currently around 7000 dollars a pop and take 36 hours to build.

I'm at the same point. They're really dragging it out! I still have a few buildings left to get in the main game though so it's giving me chance to raise enough money for those.

You are obviously not taking into account the difficulties in constructing underwater foundations for the boardwalk and the availability of specialist divers.

Level 30 keeps rolling around so when you would level up to 31 you get the pick a box game.

You can win either 1,2 or 3 donuts - if you get less than three you get the option to pick again for 50,000 dollars.

This is the way they've done it for a while now before new levels launch.

Level 31 should be along soon too. There's a post saying what to expect from it on Tapped Out Tips.

The new 4th July mini update is up now. A new premium building (a log cabin) which unlocks Abraham Lincoln. Apu gets a new All American skin and lots of fireworks related tasks.

LOVE that Rex Banner got brought into the game! One of the very best one-time characters from a really great old episode!

Agreed. Interrogating Flanders made me chuckle somewhat

Means we could expect to see pretty much any character that's ever appeared. Would love to have a Mulder and Scully in my Springfield. Would be a good Halloween tie in.

It would have to be Disco Stu for me, or failing that Disco Stud

Just got the 4th of July gift so log on today to get it.

Apparently it's worth 50 donuts and is nice enough but I wouldn't want to spend 50 donuts on it.
