However, if you click on the Googolplex, and then play a movie there's different films at levels 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 & 90.
It's probably the final level for now.
Levelling up still exists - there's just no new characters or buildings anymore. (They will still be more to come - but it'll be in the form of mini-events (like the Deep Space Homer one in January) or full events (like the current Wild West one).)

And, for information, levels go up to 939.

Can't wait to see the back of this event. One of the most boring events ever.

Aaaand it's gone (yeah, I know that's "South Park").

The last act just seemed to drag on - especially for those (like me) who had hoarded enough materials and had got Carl's Dad Caverns by last Wednesday (the 25th). You also have to remember that there were no free doughnuts for every 2500 or so plans/badges/bundles of TNT - as a result, I saw no reason to pop in more than once a day. (I guess they gave away sooo many doughnuts during the Casino event - I was able to get a round every day after collecting all the prizes.)

Me too. I haven't bothered to do the rail yard for the last few weeks. And have just logged in once a day to do the event which was enough to still complete it before the event ended.

I may delete the app and see how I go. I know if I have the app when the next event is out I will just get sucked in again

Feeling the same as you two above - still playing though and might try some town redesign.

Wonder how long it would legitimately take to farm enough donuts to collect all my outstanding premium items.....

It's a good job I decided not to nuke my Springfield and redesign it - I would have had to quickly drag the stuff needed for the event back out and it would have been even messier than before.

I seem to be the only one still enjoying this game
I never said I no longer enjoyed playing the game - I just thought the last act in the Wild West event dragged on too long.

When my phone broke a few days in to the Wild West event I was a bit annoyed. It got sent off for repair and came back 3 weeks later and the event was still on, but obviously there wasn't much point in me trying to complete it, however I realise I didn't actually miss much at all. I have more or less lost interest in the game. I don't bother with any of the Heights stuff, I can't even tell you when I last went to a neighbours town. I only visit it once or twice a week now, when I'm bored. However I am in 2 minds if I should delete it or not. I find myself only enjoying the Christmas events, but even that wasn't much to write home about last year.

I find it difficult to be bothered with the Heights - but that may be because, in Homer's words, "Work? I thought this was supposed to be a game." (All that grinding makes it less like a game and more like unrewarding work.)

As for the neighbours - I found that I largely didn't need them in the Wild West event. (And when it told me to go into a friend's Springfield, I just went to the Other one.)

Well if this superhero event is anything like the last one I'll hate it, wasn't a fan of it at all. All the buildings from it apart from a few went straight into storage and not seen the light of day since! But I'll give it a chance.

You know, EA, having a gap of longer than a few hours between events (this comes straight after the Chiliad event, which itself came virtually straight after the Wild West event) is not a bad thing.

Also, should I really get into this, seeing as I'm going on holiday before it finishes?

Is the leg th of events getting longer?

This one is 41 days (I saw in the tapped out forum, apologies if wrong). That's just far too long. About two weeks too long. A week for each 'act' seems plenty.

I find myself bored of it during the second week anyway as the prizes tent to be crap buildings or decorations.

They do seem to drag a bit now - 41 days sounds right - if you check the social battle prizes list it says 33d 17h 27m to go.

Some prizes aren't bad though. I like One week wonder films and the Aqua world tower.

I think the length of events is the main thing that has stopped me playing recently. When you finish an act with a good 4 or 5 days to go, sometimes longer it just gets rather boring. I know not everyone plays at the same pace but I only played the Wild West one once maybe twice a day for a few minutes and still finished very early each act.

When they add these bigger events, the game becomes too big on my phone in terms of memory meaning I can't play until they're over. It's really annoying.

What buildings and characters am I missing through this?

That's annoying:

Our gift for Independence Day in 2015 was 13 free doughnuts.
Out gift for Independence Day in 2016? A freaking Catherine Wheel.
