This event is so boring. EA seem to have given up on it on too considering there are only three prizes to get from the final act.

^ I think that's connected to the fact that it only lasts a week, so as - presumably - to give us some breathing space before the inevitable THOH event, as that historically starts the first week of October. (Oh, and a note to EA: don't drag it out until the middle of November, like you did last year.)

Halloween is not as big an event for us Brits ( some anyway) me included, it drags on for ages. I don't mind the Christmas events.

The events really are going down hill aren't they. I've barely played this event but managed to get all the prizes easily.

I agree, but the thing is I still keep playing, so damned addictive - I've invested so much time in this game it would feel like a shame to give it up.

That's how i used to feel but just decided to take it off the first page of my iPad and put it back in my games folder. I keep the icons for my Most used apps on the first page so as I could see it I would often load it up out of habit. Thought if I moved it and still wanted to play I'd go find it and could move it back if I wanted.

That was during the Wild West event. I haven't played at all since. Seemed a bit silly to me to just play it out of habit when I wasn't really enjoying it any more.

I usually enjoy the Christmas event though so may give that a look and might check out the Halloween but that hasn't been good in a few years imo (think it was the one with gremlins that I last enjoyed).

Might give it another go when my new iPhone arrives for Halloween/Xmas.

Lots of rehashed prizes, but at least there's more land and a few new items.

Redownloaded

Enjoying it again. Maybe a break was needed. Like the variety in the different things to do for this hallowe'en event.

So, the Covered Bridge can't be built over water.

Yeah, great thinking there. (I think we now have a contender for the worst ever event prize.)

I saw somebody else had placed it in their city and thought, "guess it's not an actual bridge then". What a ridiculous prize!

The prize is absolutely awful!! It looks really good on the prize menu but in reality it's horrible. Doesn't look right and the fact it can't be built over water is stupid.

If you haven't unlocked it yet, just wait until you see the Couch Monster. See the spoiler for details:

These events are far too long. I wouldn't mind if the prizes were great but they're awful.

I deleted the game 3 weeks ago, as it was taking up too much space on my Ipad and was becoming a chore to play.

I haven't missed it yet!

I did the same. Every update was a chore, having to delete things just to get it to update was a pain in the arse. Why the need for so much memory on a game that is streamed?

I haven't missed it either. 3 years I played it for, but it just became too much. Tasks from ages ago still pending with no option to just get rid of them and ignore that particular quest got quite annoying.

Well I've loved this event and for once I haven't got bored by the end of it. Thought the Halloween prizes this year have all been pretty good. I'm already waiting for the holiday event aka my favourite event of the year to start!!!

Except for *that* bridge. We know what one I'm talking about.

We usually get a Thanksgiving event in between don't we?

Well yes, I have mine out at the moment but will probably hide it!
