The Sunsphere takes 3 days to build
Plus 3 weeks of saving money :-P the more expensive the item the quicker it should take to build imho.

Might make the start of the game a bit tough.

Yeah that is one expensive building. Specifically for people that bought doughnuts on eBay.

Other building is a secondary school and what's his name, Skinners boss.

I'm fairly new to Tapped Out as I just got a newer Android phone! I'm Level 15 and at the moment feel like it's taking forever to level up, let alone what it'll be like higher up!
Add my Springfield, I think it is han-tastic807.

Added.

I've just levelled up to 34, but can't start the quests yet as all my characters are busy so can't see how much the new buildings are! I saw the zirconium or whatever it is - is it really 5 mil??

I'm johleth1986 and am also level 34, I am about 5000 XP to the next level, not that there is a next level yet.

I spent several hours today placing homes I proper neighbourhoods, I just can't be one of those players that just plunk down shops and homes anywhere.

What's that about doughnuts on ebay? Is it legit? (by legit, I mean does it work as I am sure it isn't legit in EAs eyes )

The update it annoying me. Have been saving up for the Sunsphere. Only got about 400k at the moment and now I can't decide whether I carry on saving or buy the High School!

The fact that people sell them suggests that it does but personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. It'd take the fun out of the game plus you never know if EA might catch on to what you've done and delete your account.

As for what to buy, I'm holding off on buying the cheaper stuff now for a change so I can get some of the expensive buildings. Plus the escalator makes me laugh whenever I look at it

One of my neighbours has the escalator. It is huge, but is amusing for a few minutes. Think I would get bored of it and delete it though so am not going to bother.

Any purchases outside of the game are not legit and EA may take action in the future so it's not worth the risk if you are spending real world cash on the game...

As for the Sunsphere or other aspirational buildings (escalator, zirconia, skyscraper, magnifying glass...) they don't really contribute a lot to the level story so I would go with the high school for now as it drives the story along.

Having said that, the Sunsphere does have a quest & tasks after buying but as it can be done at any time stick to the main tasks / buildings for now and wait until there is a gap between levels...

My towns are both in a bit of a mess at the moment while I move stuff around, I think I may just save all my cash to buy the rest of the land when this level is complete so I have some space to move stuff and build it properly!

I've got it, bought it while waiting for new levels to come out. Placed it so that it's the entrance to the Mental Hospital - seemed appropriate

Haha good thinking. I just bought it too. Gonna place some STOP signs in front of it that will clearly go ignored

Jeeezus. I downloaded this to try a week or so ago. Ran through an intro then had quit. The other night while sitting quietly my phone just shouts hey come play with me in homers voice. Nearly crapped myself.

I like having the notifications but have to remember to silence my phone when I'm at work otherwise I get Homer shouting "BETTER THEM THAN ME" at random quiet moments.

Been no update now for at least a week, what they playing at?? Lol

I hope they'll bring out more buildings for Squidport and Krustyland. I'm close to finishing KL. Wish they'd make it so your characters walked on the boardwalk as well.

How do you start Krustyland? Also is it unusual that most updates are done within the app rather than via App Store?

Think you need to be level 20 or higher. Krusty will get a task.
