Been no update now for at least a week, what they playing at?? Lol
I hope they'll bring out more buildings for Squidport and Krustyland. I'm close to finishing KL. Wish they'd make it so your characters walked on the boardwalk as well.
Only a few weeks until the new season starts in the US (29th Sept) so I am expecting episode tie-in updates starting with 'Homerland':
Kristen Wiig (“Despicable Me 2”) guest-voices in the season premiere episode as an intense, high-strung FBI agent whom Lisa enlists for help when she suspects that something sinister has happened to Homer. Also, Elizabeth Moss (“Mad Men”) plays a grateful mom who names her baby Homer Jr., after Homer Sr. helps in the delivery of the child.
My characters do walk over the boardwalk every now and then, if I catch one on there I try to give them a stationary task (Willie wrestling a snake always looks good!).

Think you need to be level 20 or higher. Krusty will get a task.
Cheers. I am a little of yet so that explains that

Does anyone have a certain character they would like to see added to the game next?

I'd really love to see Patty and Selma soon personally!

I've finally reached the outer limits of land you can buy on two corners of the map.

Am now filling in the gaps, but if they keep releasing new content they will have to expand the amount of land you can purchase.

Am finding Krustyland infuriatingly slow to develop though.

My Springfield has expanded weirdly and I'm not happy with it at the moment so my next "task" is to save up the money and expand it so it's more even and I can re-plan some of the buildings.

Am finding Krustyland infuriatingly slow to develop though.
I agree with Krustyland, I'm hoping though that it's not time-limited and I can put it to one side for a while and concentrate on getting Springfield sorted how I want it to be!

Gah, just spent all my money buying the Calmwood Mental Hospital and getting more land. I timed that badly.

I never have the money ready when an update hits. I'll have just finished saving for and buying the latest building! The premium items continue to tempt me. May have to cave and get one or two.

When you level up and you're on the max level you get a choice of three boxes to get 1-3 donuts. Would be nice if it was daily but it's only when you level up again.

Patty and Selma FINALLY!!! And even Jub-Jub!

Plus Disco Stu, completely forgot about him! 180 donuts though... expensive...

I'm only about halfway through Level 34 though, so will have to wait a little bit longer

Can't believe Disco Stu is Premium - going to have to spend some cash.

Yes they do, I must be way above the top level as each time they release a new level I get the donuts straight away and level up. Should be more than 1 - 3 donuts though tight sods!

You can speed up the bonus donut opportunities by XP Farming (not the same as house farming, but you could fund it from house farming and get there faster)
You need some in game cash to buy something that has a decent amount of XP then sell it to get some of the cash back. Repeat...

For example, buying and selling 4 weather stations gives ~4000XP (depending on your bonus multiplier) and will cost $28,500 ($38,000 gross, less the $9,500 for selling them).

Once the XP bar is full on the latest level you will get the chance to open a mystery box for donuts (1, 2 or 3) if you don't get 3 you get the chance to buy another go for $50,000.

an important detail is that if you have maxed out the XP and got the bonus doughnuts when the next level comes out you automatically go up to it and get the level up doughnuts.

Out of interest, how much of a bonus multiplier does everyone have?

A quick way to check is to count the cash given to you from the Gulp 'n' Blow.
This should give $100, at the moment I get $155 so I have a 55% bonus on everything I earn.

It definitely makes a difference to have a decent multiplier but you can't make it really high without spending donuts...
