My lagging is much better now. Only really happens when I tap too many finished jobs/rewards and have loads of money and xp waiting to collect.

On another note..anyone that is playing - have they done the Millhouse working out task? Do you get anything from it? Mine continued with Lugash (but I bought him before) So I wondered if for people without him..does it just end?
At the moment I'm unable to visit people as it like running through treacle.....well jerky treacle at that.

I always said I would never spend real money on Tapped Out, but this morning I caved and did the Golden Scratch-R. Got 12 donuts and feel half-bad, half-pleased

Thank you to those who have been visiting my town but unfortunately I can't reciprocate - game is totally unplayable at the minute with lag on the new Nexus 7 tablet.

OK I said it was a bit better but playing today - not much better (annoying)..even worse when I go into friend's towns
On a seperate note it is a bit annoying how long it takes to try and build sections for the squidport! |

I think im finished with the game. Its almost impossible to play due to the slowness of the game (on an S4) and continual crashing. Shame as i really enjoyed it

Really hope they iron it out because it's a real shame for people to have to give up playing

I just bought Chester. That's another character to add! But 800,000 dollars for a single character is insane! I am level 37, have 550,000 dollars at the moment but I need land expansions and to build an actual town, not to mention buy all the things I can still build. That boat won't be bought by me it's pointless.
Why is this game so laggy all of a sudden? Since the latest update my Springfield has become a disaster to maintain because of this issue. It takes a while to load up at first, then when I can tap things it starts being choppy, unresponsive and generally laggy. It's frustrating. This is the first time it has happened to me, all previous updates have been fine for me connection wise. Are EA aware of the ongoing problem? Have they made it worse? |

EA are aware of the problem. There are threads on their forum about it. Saying that the lagging has got a lot better for me now. My town is fine but some of my neighbours town can be slow.

I feel disappointed in EA because my town has never ever lagged up until this latest update. I hope it's fixed soon because it's putting me off playing.
In other news, I've beaten everybody at my work place. I am a higher level than all of them and they all started months before me. Plus, for about 4 months I filled my town with crap and wasn't playing properly. All the more impressive!

Finally an update on iOS that fixes the lagging. Just checked my town and neighbours and it looks as though it is completely fixed no lag at all. Now EA a few donuts would not go amiss to compensate for the crappy gameplay we have had to endure ......... But I'll not be holding my breath.

Just hit $730,000. It won't be long until I hit a million dollars. I've never saved up this much on The Simpsons before, it's really killing me inside not to spend it but I want to do it all in one go so it will look like I've made a huge difference to my town. I'll probably just spend it all on more land if I'm honest with you.
What characters would you like to see in Tapped Out? I would like to see Troy Mclure (I think that's how you spell it?) - his character would be awesome to see in the game. |

I'm the opposite, it kills me to spend money
I'd nearly got to the $2m mark yesterday but then I thought I had better buy the jewellery store with Mrs Hibbert (after all, I do realise tasks and progression are important!). Saving my pennies (cents?) now
