I had about $4m but after some recent spending am down to about $2.4m. Will no doubt have some time to build it back up again before the next level comes out.

Is it worth forking out some of my hard-earned dosh to buy donuts?
So far, I've managed to blunder through with just the donuts I've received from gameplay, but I'm wondering whether there's any point in buying some - and if I do, what should I use them for? ( I'm Azura67 if anyone would like to add me ). |

I recommend getting stuff that comes with a character so it earns you money too..things like the bowlerama or cracker factory (presuming they are still on it?) Or just pick a character you really want..I did with moleman. The open stage thing is good if you want to give characters you already have something different but they just stand on the stage..I love seeing the "b - sharps" together and Skinner and his mum! As for characters you would like to have that aren't available already... wouldn't mind Maggie being a proper character rather than just with Marge. I am gutted Edna has no noises/voice. To be honest would be happy with anyone I think marge's mum? Krusty's dad with a synagogue? Mrs Wiggum? the little boy that is pale? sideshow Bob as a proper character? Frank Grimes |

Finally an update on iOS that fixes the lagging. Just checked my town and neighbours and it looks as though it is completely fixed no lag at all. Now EA a few donuts would not go amiss to compensate for the crappy gameplay we have had to endure ......... But I'll not be holding my breath.

Good about the donuts. I recall they did something similar in the past when there was a problem. It was annoying yes but I am sure they fixed it as soon as they could. When the problem could be as little as a typo in thousands of lines of code, it could take a while. Or an actual problem needs a fix. Not easy as times.
My sound is dodgy too. It is there but is very tinny. |

I said I was disappointed in EA yesterday because of this issue but I suppose I'll have to retract that statement since they've fixed to already. To be fair they fixed it quite fast so hands up to them for that and also the free donuts.

Maybe start with the 69p scratch card as I have won 50 donuts on that sometimes.

I often wonder why the donuts are so expensive but I guess if people buy them they will price them where they want. I would have thought pricing them lower would encourage more people to buy/less hacking.
Same with things like Criminal Case on facebook (am totally addicted) costs £3.99 to refill your energy which only give you 6 goes. Far too expensive. Should be like 99p. |

Just hit 900,000 dollars. I don't know why but the way I'm hoarding money is reminding me of my teenage years when I used to play RuneScape. It's a similar sort of thing.

I would like EA to add two character skins, jungle homer and Bart. There's that episode where they get lost and wear only a leaf, that would be a funny character skin to have and they could come up with some really imaginative missions to side with it too.

They need to make sideshow Bob a proper character. It's boring him just popping up now and again.

I would like to be able to turn a property around four ways. I hate it looking like it is on the wrong side of the road. Considering how much it makes I am sure they could do that.

I agree there. At first it was a good idea but now it's annoying and I would rather see what missions he could do and earn money through him. Also would like to see his brother. I can't remember his name.

His brother was Cecil (and, in a brilliant piece of casting, had him voiced by David Hyde Pearce - who played Kelsey Grammer's brother in Frasier).

That's one thing putting me off building my town properly. Having the buildings only face two ways so limited and it destroys some ideas you can sometimes have for your town.

If they have the buildings able to face 4 ways they should have rotation too so you can rotate the town to view it form all sides.
