It's taken over a year and half, but I may finally have lost interest in Tapped Out. The Stonecutters event just doesn't have good enough prizes to keep me trying to get tokens, and my town is completely full so I have no real incentive to keep collecting money.
I'm quite sad about it really because I've really milked this game for all it's worth, but I seem to have moved onto Family Guy now and visiting the Simpsons just feels like such a chore.. |

Yeah that is a bit freaky! And HUGE! Thanks for the quick reply!
I only have the Stonecutter table to get, plus whatever the last prize is for the parchment scrolls. |

I downloaded Family Guy but I just never got in to it. I much prefer Family Guy to The Simpsons as a show, in fact I hardly ever watch The Simpsons these days, it's been years since I saw a new episode I even remotely liked, but I just couldn't get in to the FG game at all and I've not played it for ages. I've actually uninstalled it! |

Does anyone think when stonecutters event ends they will become "no homers" club? Probably not though as we have stonecutter outfits for so many characters now!
It is a shame the stonecutters weren't seen again in any other episodes of Simpsons as it is a good episode!..but as the group ended I guess it makes sense. I actually enjoy Family Guy & The Simpsons tapped out...however Family Guy you have to keep making the characters do the same things over and over again on many occasions to get things (outfits) which is perhaps what annoys me the most. With Tapped Out I keep being tempted to buy more donuts and I know it is a waste of money really..but I would like the old guy that has just become available as that is another episode I like. I wonder if his gold house will become available? I have noticed many neighbours have EVERYTHING..either they have a lot of money to buy donuts or they have cheated! To me this seems a bit pointless as you have no challenge in playing the game? It is also slightly annoying visiting their springfields as you see everything and ruins the surprise when or if you get it one day! |

You better believe that's a paddlin'!
I have almost everything but I didn't cheat... don't wanna think about what I've spent on the game over the past year.

I've recently turned towards the dark side and starting to buy donuts.. And I'm happy I did. It's made me even more addicted to this game.
I was getting so fed up with this game (Easter update is all that needs to be said) but I'm really loving this update. The prizes are really good and I love the final one. Only 4000 away. |

I buy the occasional scratchcard, but otherwise haven't spent anything substantial on this. I was vehemently opposed to paying anything at first, but I've been playing almost 18 months now so feel it's good value if I break it down in comparison to a PS4 game etc.
I was tempted to do the cheats, but didn't want to risk compromising my account. Because I've played for so long now I have all the land available and am still struggling to fit new items in though. If EA don't open up more land soon it will limit how much I'll play (and pay). However, as said on these forums before I guess it's a hardware memory restriction issue. |

I wish Number One's tasks were a bit fairer. More than once I've had tasks for 6 hours, 6 hours, 4 hours and that's before I even found out what task 4 was. That's a minimum of 17 hours which is ridiculous.
Should've been 150 emblem task-1 hour, 200-2 hours, 250-4 hours, 400-6 hours. |

I have 41700 emblems.
I agree about the Number One tasks not being fair. There have been days where I have been really pushed to complete them and others when I have had 4, 1 hour tasks. |

I'm not even sure why the grand prize is that thing anyway. As far as I'm aware, the Stonecutters only appear in one, very old, episode of the Simpsons. Now I think it's a great event, don't get me wrong, but this grand prize seems a bit odd. It doesn't even appear in the episode from what I remember. The other items and extra characters are good though and hopefully number 1 stays with us!
And at least this update's fairer - there's no luck involved in the prizes (I'm looking at you, Christmas* and Easter** events). * - One of my friends got the Plow King costume for Barney with their first spin! I never got him. ** - All that stuff, and all I got was fences and topiary (and the occasional (as in once a week) batch of 100 golden eggs). |

Yeah last prize is at 35,000.
Donuts you say. Interesting. And they are something to do with the game? I think I'm going to buy Mrs van hauten when this is over. |

Unlocked The KBBL building - seems to work same way as Channel 6 with different broadcasts. Hopefully they'll create a "Where's my Elephant?" task at some point.

Not sure if any benefits from purchasing it though. Also: the "Store all" option returns, which sees everything other than the Simpsons House and the Krustyland Shuttle going into storage. |

i did wonder if you could start them in advance.
also, if you don't finish all of the Number One task in a day, start which ever one you are on. If it is then completed in the next day it still counts as your first task so you get a bit of a head start. |
