I've not tried it, but I'm guessing you may be able to do it via Origin website.

Yep you need to download the Origin client and then you can manage your friends from there. Weird because iphone users can do it from the app.

the nature of the game is that the further you progress and the faster you start earning money the more thing cost. towards the end of the game you are looking at 130,000 ish for a building.

1. Each building has a "base cost". This is the cost that is posted.
2. After you reach Level 23, the price you pay for a building appears to be determined by your level. There is a multiplier applied to the base cost of each building. Here are the multipliers and levels.
Level 1-22: no multiplier (buildings should cost the price that is posted, in theory)
Level 23: 1.3x
Level 24: 1.3x
Level 25: 1.4x
Level 26: 1.6x
Level 27: 2x
Level 28: 3x
Example: You reach level 28 and your next building is the Businessman's Social Club. The base cost for the building is $63,000. The level 28 multiplier is 3. So, $63,000*3 = $189,000 cost to build. (Multipliers don't apply to standard houses and extra Kwik-E Marts/Gulps/Krusty Burgers; those costs appear to always remain constant. Also, some of the non-progression buildings and the side story buildings don't appear to be based on the same multiplier.)

Surely that should be the other way around. You're getting punished for playing the game more and putting more effort in otherwise! Just made it to level 27 and got loads of buildings still to get so I'm screwed.

Now that I am reasonably well developed and have lots of characters, I am building up quite a bit of money each day, I am unsure though whether I should buy the Adult Education Annex or keep saving for the Skinner house, I know either way it will take the same amount of time to get them both, but if I keep saving for the Skinner house I will have another character that can earn money for me.

Does anyone notice any funny little things their characters do around the town? Rev. Lovejoy was walking the dog the other day, and it pissed all over Barney sleeping on the floor.

I like making Willie play the bagpipes outside people's houses too.

During whacking day I had Smithers whipping Willie while he was wrestling his snake on the floor

Good - we're finally getting the promenade features.
Bad - I have no idea where I'm going to find space for it...
