If you haven't done so, do Homer's missions that include Lisa before starting with Flanders - the Homer/Lisa line last just an hour and six seconds.

And amongst the other stuff added: the Sacagawea Lisa skin from Thanksgiving last year and Piggly's Super Smorg - which also includes Jacqueline Bouvier. But there's bad news: other than the Puritan Smithers and Sacagawea Lisa skins, freemium players don't get anything.

IMO this is a very poor update - some good stuff there, but only if you are willing to pay (or grind forever for level up donuts).

I know it's a business, but the balance between free and premium items could be better.

After a fairly big and generous Halloween update and what I assume will be around 4-5 weeks of Christmas, which will be another huge update, I guess they are just keeping Thanksgiving low key.

The Flanders skin is not the only freebie though, we did get a Cornucopia today which adds 0.5% to the money/XP bonus!

Gil is back - Black Friday timed deals active on Premium buildings - allowing for rebates of donuts.

Might be a good time to pick up some long needed buildings, but you'll need to check times carefully to get what you need.

My task to make Lisa and Ned have a peace meal doesn't seem to trigger. Both are free yet I cannot start the task at all.

I had to force the Christmas update as I went to a neighbour and they already had it!

I won't visit any friends until my Toy Workshop is built (which will finish around 10pm) as that will surely trigger any new visit/collection based prize system. I want to maximise my chances of getting everything this time around! Not since last Christmas have I managed to squeeze every freebie out of an update!

I'm annoyed at myself. I sent Homer on strike for 24 hours and now I can't complete todays Santa Tasks in time to get the bonus 100 gifts. Homer has another 14 hours and I need to completed the Homer part of todays task within 14 hours.

Thankfully I avoided sending him on strike so I can get the bonus.
