I thought she was great tonight and she was great in the live ep I think EastEnders has the best young soap actors.

shes really stepped up since Lucy has come back and they've used her a bit more sparingly, she was bobbing along like a poor mans lucy for so long but has really made Lola her own, the writing is a nit frustrating at times but Danielle is doing a great job with her side of things, I doubt any of the other young cast couldnt have done what she did tonight, with the exception of Jac Jossa

Xtonix: If you think she looks gorgeous as Lola, then you should see how stunning she looks with her hair down, less fake tandem and some smart gear on.
I saw her intervied several months ago and as i said, she looked stunning!

Ever since she joined I thought she was a good actress. Ok at the very beginning the character was a bit annoying but she soon showed what a talented actress she is, it's her own little quirks and mannerisms she adds to the role not to mention the outstanding performance tonight. She will go far.

Just a shame Lexie turned out to be Ben's! Phil should help Lola and Billy regardless - now it will just turn in to a war for his 'grandchild'.

I have really warmed to Lola since Lexi was born, she clearly loves her baby and Danielle has proved to be a terrific little actress...I thought the character should have been axed a few months back but Lola has really come into her own now and I think she has a rightful place in the Square...

I've always liked her, but it was her acting during Heather murder week that showed me she was more than capable, and not worthy of the criticism she got. Her acting is just so fluid and natural.

She reminds me of Lacey Turner and I expect her to shine more and more as time goes on.

I always saw potential in Lola, but she drifted in and out of the show so she kind of slipped under my radar a bit. Since she gave birth to Lexi, she's really come into the foreground and established herself as a really interesting and well-acted character. I really felt sad when she was forced to hand over her baby tonight. I hate that social worker's constant interfering.

The tears were streaming down my face!

Especially whenever she said she wanted to show her London at night, I thought that was so cute!

I've always thought she had great potential, there was just that something special about the actor. Tonight I was left in no doubt, and judging by the response on twitter we are far from alone in recognizing this.

An absolutely flawless performance. One of the best of any cast member this year actually.

And yes, she really reminded me of Lacey in those final scenes - and for all of the right reasons. She was perfect. Also, it is three years this week since Stacey's section so it's a nice little hark back.

I agree with you. I have always liked the actress and the character but writers sort of used her as a character to just shove in to an episode here and there. She did amazing in the live ep and since then has come in leaps and bounds. She had me in tears tonight when she screamed out for Lexi when she was being driven away which I really don't think was necessary. Yes, she has been in trouble with the police but it's clear that Lexi was her world and that she was doing a pretty good job as a mum. That social worker shouldn't have been able to just turn up nearly everyday and pick on her. Plus, she was only sticking up for herself, Lexi and Abi tonight. I really hope she gets her back but rumour is that
Spoiler

Ive really warmed to Lola since Lexi was born, she was amazing in the live segment and tonight she was brilliant. I think she could win the best young actor award at the BSA. You could feel the emotion she felt.
I hate that social worker and those girls. Who wouldnt fight back if someone was saying there going to kill your child and the thing she was saying about Lexi would make anyone react in the way Lola did, I dont blame her for reacting that way.

She is improving immensely but she still says certain words too quickly and trails off sometimes in a way which makes her dialogue feel slightly awkward. If she sorts that out she should be just about right.
