She actually gives real constructive criticism.

I agree i thought she was really good, but i wish she wouldn't say yes after everything.

She did give good advice, but if she keeps saying, "M'kay? yeah? 'kay? yah?" all the time, it's going to start getting to me!

I agree, it was very observant of her to spot that Victoria's heels were far to high.

Ya she did, I just hope she doesn't watch Miranda before the show next time.

Unfortunately I missed most of tonight's show and will miss tomorrow's as well but, surely she can't be as bad as "you wuz gud". Now that really did annoy me.

In lower heels Victoria will dance a lot better, but have Brendan towering over her.

She's fairly posh in comparison with the rest. Bound to have some habits that irk, but at least she knows what she's talking about.

I'd reserve judgment on that one if I were you.

It's sound advice. She needs lower heels: she might learn how to move properly if she learns how to use the floor. And stops snivelling!

If Colin and Kristina can manage it ...

Your quite right and this is the crux of the problem.

Victoria was upstaged by her hair. Darcey's ballet company would never have allowed that.

I thought she was struggling to find things to say. She didn't really give me any confidence in her capability to be a judge

I think she was trying to be positive instead of negative and find the right things to say. It's her first night. Give her a break.

At least she knows what she is talking about.

I know she is a fantastic ballet dancer, no argument there. But as a person who specialises in showing ponies I know that is world away from showjumping. And while i could give a very good show of knowing what I was talking about while looking at showjumping/eventing/dressage. I personally know that I would not know as much as the experts in that sphere, as they would not know about mine. I am presuming the same goes for dancing.

I thought Darcey gave very good advice to the contestants this evening, proving that the Beeb were wise to make her a judge. Such a refreshing change to have some intelligent comments from a female member of the panel.

It's got to me already. Stop it, now Darcey.

You were very observant too, I must admit I got distracted by Victoria's Hot Pink sinbad pants.

Yeah a good constructive bit of advice each time from Darcy yeah.....I can only hope someone tells her to stop the YEAHS tomorrow or I may have to throw my TV out the window no matter how good her snippets are!

Some of the "yahs" were like punctuation. Still, each time she gave the contestant something to think and improve on.

I agree with most of the comments . I knew Darcy would give constructive criticism but I think she showed a few nerves with the constant " yeah"s! I hope this will get ironed out or wie'll all be tearing our hair out!1

Didn't she judge for a few weeks a couple of years ago? I remember not being impressed by her then but I quite liked her tonight - I think she'll lose the 'yah's over the weeks
