Judges overplaying it?!

I think the judges are becoming charicatures of themselves and ought to tone it down. Craig overacted the "hardman" last night.Bruno went overboard as "the clown" and Len really got on my wick as "the censorous one" I do wish he'd stop glaring at Craig everytime he speaks and stop rolling his eyes at Bruno's antics. Darcey was fine, except for the "yahs"
Please, judges, just give your opinions, not a cameo acting appearance.

I thought they were generally ok and i liked the low scoring. Craig went abit over board with the lift telling off but it did need saying (just not quite so much ). Bruno was Bruno and i didn't notice anything from Len. Darcey will hopefully settle tonight with less of the yahs.

At least their marking seemed a lot better than normal.

Last year lifts got out of hand, judges ignored the situation for a while and it ended with everybody lifting everything. I think it's better to react strictly immediately, if for nothing else than for Robin's sake

I think they were all filling their distinct roles and generalling doing it very well.

Craig was very critical, with the occasional 'magic sponge' at the end. I thought his marking was a bit off - especially with Nicky, but it may have been part of a setup.

Darcey was trying to get into a role of 'constructive criticism' - which is going to eat a bit into Bruno's role. I think she will need to be more technical - if she has actually studied ballroom and latin enough - which is something we were told she was doing.

Len was getting back to the old Len and giving the technique criticism and a few plaudits. I hope he can also be consistent.

Bruno was doing the usual diving over the top (of Len in this case). I think Len may earn his raise this year just by being next to Bruno.

This is true, their individual characteristics were deliberately chosen to be as diverse as those of the Village People, it's all part of the enjoyable pantomime. However they take it to extremes too often and waste time. I always think there's more of a competition going on there, than out on the dance floor.

I'm just glad that Bruno has stopped shouting. I had to press the mute button every time he spoke last year.
