EE's writers are highly irresponsible and the BBC should know better. |

I was surprised real life social workers didn`t complain because to say this storyline was bad is an understatement. EE obviously didn`t do any research either that or they think the viewers are too thick to know.

Juding by the comments of social workers/trainee social workers on here, I can't help but feel that a complaint could be imminent

Don`t normally agree with people complaining about soaps but on this occasion i think they have to. I know its a soap but when it comes stoylines like this. They have to get it as real as possible. This was about as far from that as you could get.

I find it so hard to take her seriously as a character at all! She reminds me of Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge! It's the voice I think..

The way she held Lexie and took her away. She might as well have said "she's MY baby!" - Mad May 2.0.
And to answer your question OP, nothing has changed at all. |

Phil: Aye Social Boss: Sir, in London, there have been no social workers named "Trish" for at least two years DUFF DUFF, DUFF DUFF-DUFF-DUFF |

Y'know, if I was in charge, I would portray it as has been, then in a few weeks

Don`t worry i don`t but young mothers out there who watch EE and because it always states its a realistic soap they may do. Their argument being it happened on EE so it must happen in real life. EE should make an announcment saying what happens in the show in no way reflects what happens in the the real world.
