Lola storyline
Kathleen Beedles told a follower this on Eastenders:
Kathleen Beedles @KittyBeed @scottishphoenix that Lola stuff was planned when I was there. Heartbreaking. Night you Thatcher lover x So it was not planned by Lorraine Newman it was planned by Bryan Kirkwood. Normally when a new executive producer takes over they need to do and finishe of the planned storylines or the storylines that started before they were in charge |

To be honest, I don't really understand the thing about seeing Lorraine's material on screen - she was Bryan Kirkwood's second in command, so a lot of the stuff we have seen over the past couple of years have had something to do with her and she's helped to make the decision. However, I understand that she probably looked at the current batch of storylines and most probably axed the ones she saw as feeble and dull.
