Yeah I hope the title doesn't sound offensive, but I would vote for Paul Trueman and then Patrick

Speaking of Paul Trueman, I often wonder if Paul is actually dead. It was always presumed if I remember correctly.

I'd love him not to be, he was one of my favourites during his stint. He had a great relationship with Janine too that didn't suck the life outta her like Ryan and Michael have.

Patrick identified his body, I don't think it was unidentifiable in any way because he knew right away it was Paul.

And judging by Paul's last statement - "do me a favour, make it quick" I don't think he put up a fight.

Without a doubt it's got to be Naomi! Her acting was top notch!

Yolande was really good and often underrated.

I also loved Carmel the social worker.

Worst has to be Ian's friend Kelvin and his family - they were all awful.

Can't believe nobody has yet mentioned the EastEnders legend that is Gus.

Gus was actually a pretty cool guy, too bad he had to leave. Sean was horrible to him.

I seem to remember scenes where Sean gave Gus some food and then told him he was eating Wellard...if that actually happened, that was pretty horrible of Sean.

Gus was a cool guy, but not very interesting and there were only so many times we could watch him sweep roads in the background. He was a nice, but pointless character.

She was bad but not as bad as Kelvin and his little sister.

I remember Naomi's first appearance and thinking how much potential she had, then she got lumbered with that implausible Sonia the lesbian dross.

Juley.

For me, it would have to be Patrick, Denise and Paul Trueman-he was great.

Patrick without a doubt, he's like the granddaddy of the square lol. He has had some really interesting storylines over the years.

Lucas was great . At least he was interesting . I would rather watch Lucas strangle someone than Gus sweeping the street .
