They are both attractive, competent, similar background, but Kimberley seems so much more likeable than DVO!

With Denise, people say its 'yeh yeh, its the woman bitchy, jealousy thing'...but not so.

I just think Kimberley is lovely, like Chelsee was last year. But something about Denise just makes me feel 'urgh'...

Kimberley is just so humble and sweet, DVO comes across slightly arrogant (IMO) and her reaction to her dance background wasn't that great.

It's all subjective. I actually think Denise is prettier despite being a bit older, and probably more talented all round but I hate the way she 'dumbs down' and pretends she's a young kid at pushing 40! Kimberley just seems to be more 'herself' and not trying too hard.

Yeah I like Kimberley but I think she will need to show a lot more personality as the show progresses. I can't warm to Denise at all

To be honest, I've just had enough of James. I think he's a tit. I know I'll never warm to the couple because he's part of it.

Kimberley seems very down to earth and natural despite GA's undoubted huge success. Denise still has a whiff of the "I'm mad, me!" persona which grates on me.

Both stage school brats as are Dani and Sid and probably Colin. However Denise comes across as hard and arrogant, whereas Kimberley, despite the trout pout (why? She was always the best looking out of girls aloud?) seems very likeable and down to earth.

Probably because Denise is not coming across as 'ditzy', sweet, or 'non threatening'. Whether she is or not, she comes across and 'lairy', confident and ambitious. Her 'fault' is that she isn't hiding it with faux humility – I actually quite like that. Because to be a celebrity and go on a reality TV program, they ALL have to be wildly ambitious and attention seeking. You don't go on a program like Strictly if you are not in it for the attention, and to be competitive. They may not all want to win, but they ALL want to make an impression and boost their careers.

Whether Kimberly really is or not, she plays the gracious humility game well, much better than Denise. I assume Kimberly is doing it to raise her profile, being one of the background members of her band.

That said, I don't really feel much for either of them. I do think the flack Denise is getting is OTT though.

Strictly has a formula, the sweet, attractive, 'kooky' girls who dance competently, go far. The quiet 'nice guys' who dance competently go far. Those who make it to the latter weeks are people who didn't make much of an impression in the first half of the series, but were good enough to not get kicked out; they normally make a big sudden improvement about 2/3 of the way through the series. Those who start off impressively, but peak too soon, or who made themselves too distinctive too early don't normally make it through all the way.

Don't be daft. Kimberley is not the only one. Denise's face is riddled with botox and her hair has seen vast quantities of bleach! That's the way it is in TV etc. these days. I much prefer Denise with shorter hair and without the extensions!

In the early days of Girls Aloud she used to speak about how she was teased at school and called pouty mc pout pout because of them.

Kimberley is so likeable because she is genuine, she is humble and she is gracious. She also has a cheeky sense of humour.

Denise is simply vile. Arrogant, pretentious and seems very false. Its probably a perfect pairing that they paired her with the deplorable James Jordan.

I don't know Kimberly at all so I'm seeing her with fresh eyes. So far she seems bland, sweet, just "nice", a bit plasticised, surprisingly Northern in a genuine sounding, almost homely way.

I've never liked Denise, I didn't like that whole "ladette" thing at all (Denise, Zoe Ball, Sara Cox etc) I find her brash, abrasive and fake wiv all the Essex gel stuff. All the gurning, winking and tongue-poking (or was that just Lisa?) doesn't endear her to me.
