OMG - Zoe & Denise on ITT!

You forgot the bit when Zoe was doing her bit for ITT. Denise she was just about to take a bite from an enormously long baguette - more sleazy innuendo. She plays the ladette/lads' mag fave part a little too well.

The ladette thing......its all well and good and has its place. And I feel that the likes of Zoe Ball and Sara Cox are genuinely like that. Whereas i feel Denise completely acts it as she thinks people will like it. When in fact she just looks like a ****, to be honest. Zoe is at least a nice person and come across as genuine (in my opinion)

I think it's much easier for some to like someone they saw and heard in a pop group some years back. Kimberly is of course younger than Denise so that pulls in fans as well. She also has Pasha as her partner and he seems to be the ideal squeeze for many as well. If he'd danced with a ferret, it would be spoken of as the best ferret in the universe.

Having said that Kimberly danced really well so good luck to her. If she wins it would be on merit, by the looks of it so far and that's what it's all about.

I do actually like ferrets! Cuddly sinuous (smelly) things. Pasha's on the other hand would smell of roses and have a cute little gap in its teeth.

Yep Pash and ferret (any old Ferrret for that matter) would be my winners...

Because to be a celebrity and go on a reality TV program, they ALL have to be wildly ambitious and attention seeking. You don't go on a program like Strictly if you are not in it for the attention, and to be competitive. They may not all want to win, but they ALL want to make an impression and boost their careers.”

I think that certainly applied to poor old Gabby Logan, but for Denise I think it's less a determination to win and more a desperation to be liked that is transmitted to viewers.

I'd agree - I think Denise grates because she seems to be trying too hard. Kimberly does seem a bit bland atm but more natural and relaxed.

It's Denise's gurning that gets me. She thinks it's funny and it's not.

Is Kimberly's popularity connected to her being Pasha's partner ? I shall call Sherlock and see what he thinks.

For me it's the fact that she plays on her 'normal Essex girl' roots while at the same time adding 'Van' to her original surname of just plain Outen. What's that about?!

Went off Denise when she was a judge on that Lloyd Webber Show (can't remember what is was called), thought she was a right cow and so biased. Then when she was going out with Lee Mead and she kept telling everyone 'it's a private relationship', whilst at the same time telling everyone about themselves. Also not a fan of James Jordan.

Kimberley seems to come across as more humble, she will go far as not only can she damce but she has Pasha, who is a sweetie.

All this Denise hate bothers me. She is a talented woman and there was grace and charm in her dance with James. Kimberly - well if you like them dumb with big hair and lots of plastic Barbie charm, she'll float your boat. I suppose I prefer someone a bit more grown up.

Don't have a problem with either of them, they both seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and working hard in the dance studio.

You think Kimberley is stupid? I know you shouldn't make snap judgements about people, but I would say she's quite bright. Maybe even intelligent. Have no real opinion on Denise. I seem to have missed every blummin thing she's been on until now.

I like both and think the criticisms of Denise are rather harsh for so early in the series.
However I would prefer Kimberley to do better because personally I find Pasha a lot more likeable than James, who I've never seemed to warm to.

Dumb? Grown up?

Kimberley isn't an immature idiot. During Girls Aloud's early days when Louis Walsh abandoned them and was their manager in pretty much name only it was Kimberley who took a lot of the day to day running of things on her back, and even when they got proper management she was employed as part of the team... as well as member of the group.

Plus there is a good chemistry between them.
