Missing everyone too! Found Fudd on another thread.

Good night tonight - better than Friday. Sid Owen was a pleasant surprise!

See you all next week - I had choccies and white wine ready tonight!

I'll be ready as long as we can keep the spinning chairs out of it this year.

Do we have any moles this year?

2012 has been a horrendous year for me so far. My husband was very ill in Feb with an abscess on his colon that burst. He was in hospital for nearly 3 weeks and came home with a colostomy bag that he hated. Fortunately it was only temporary and he had it removed in July. We did have a better September as we came to England to have a morning at the Paralympics and the rest of the week with my brother and his family. The low point of the whole week was the journey by Eurostar. It was very cramped - worse than Ryanair - so we were very glad the journey was quick.

I'm really looking forward to the Saturday night cheese and wine party - or what ever is on offer.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Unfortunately, I have had some very sad news too. My best mate's cancer has come back all over the place, and she only has months left.

So let us all hope that at least we can escape to the spoiler thread on Saturday's, and lift our spirits, even for just a couple of hours.

(BTW, I don't think anything is worse than Ryanair! )

Can't wait for the spoiler thread to begin, cupcakes and booze at the ready. Girlie52 has already suggested motability scooter races to occupy us whilst waiting!

I'm sorry to hear that 2012 hasn't been the greatest, StrictlySC4 But like someone said this forum is a fab way of offering a bit of light hearted escape/relief. I'll be on the forum but later on next Saturday evening, would be great if there's a spoiler. I'll be bringing pink fizz, chocs and some nachos

Good to see you back! It's like being back at school (long time ago for me, lol!) and seeing the 'old faces' returning *not being rude but that was a phrase we used way back then*

So looking forward to the spoiler thread this year. No spinny chairs for me please. Just picked the sloes today, so the gin will be ready for the final and this year all my kids have either left or at uni, so I can give Strictly my full attention.

Mmm, sloe gin and pink fizz - I'm sure there's a cocktail waiting to be made there (if one hasn't already been made)

That reminds me - I have some vintage sloe gin left in the back of a cupboard. It is now about 12 years old and absolutely gorgeous. I allow myself a very small glass occasionally.

Thanks for the good wishes. Seems as though 2012 hasn't been a good year for a lot of us so our Sat night get togethers will be great escapism.

I like the idea of mobility scooter races.

BIB. Or Segways! Ever been on one? I have. I fell off - badly.
