Well this autumn is the band's 50th anniversary, but to me Keef really is the Stones, a guy who has survived drug addiction, tragedy and accidents and still keeps going. A first rate rock and blues guitarist and songwriter and a nice bloke in real life, regardless of what people might think. It gives me great pleasure to open this thread.

Keith Richards is a legend, the ultimate rock and roll star, great guitarist and he is indestructible, genius.

A very skilled guitarist who, even at the height of his addiction to heroin, never missed a gig. I'm sure The Stones would have been nobodies without him.
