Lisa danced the most entertaining dance of the week. I guess they gave points for that.

She can dance. I think she is the best dancer already of all the fat contestants I have seen on any series of SCD.

I liked her dance the best. I didn't expect to so was very suprised. It was so much fun. The polar opposite of Louis

It wasn't the best cha cha, Kimberley was better. And Sid & Ola's waltz was a better dance as well - he had far more technique than she did.
It wasn't rubbish, but it was nowhere near an 8. 24 would have been generous, 30 is ludicrous. I do agree two 8's were perhaps a tad too much, particularly so early on... maybe one 8 at a stretch. But I would of given 7's all round. For me though, it was the best dance of the tonight and yesterday. Not just because it was full of energy and fun, but because she was technically one of the best with the moves given too her. Clean, fast, full of bounce and sharpness, performed with vivacity. |

Lisa was good but not an 8 in the first week . I felt there was indeed some compensation for her weight . Disappointed with Craig and Darcey.

Craig was really enjoying himself during that dance, so he probably thought what the hell, just this once. I find that more acceptable that Len giving five to all that mediocrity yesterday.

I felt she was over-marked and it was almost because she is so overweight.
Like the judges were over-compensating to make sure they weren't seen to be discriminating because of her size. Ultimately, she was enthusiastic but nowhere near as good as Kimberley. |

She danced well, that's what points are given for, she earnt them.
No one gets more points depending on the weight they're carrying. |

No, she got good marks because her performance was spot on and she had actually quite decent technique in parts. To say I was surprised was an understatement. I just wish she was a better shape because no matter how you slice it, when you don't have a particularly dancer-like physique, you're going to struggle to perfect your dancing. It's a real shame because she actually has proper natural talent. She was the only contestant tonight that danced some really nice cha-cha-cha's - I mean the actual step, not the dance.

She had lots of energy for a 'big boned' woman.
![]() I didn't expect that at all. |

No, it was not cause she was fat.
Lisa's was the best performance in general this week. Simple as that for me. I do think 30 was a bit high, but they have to base the scores on whats gone before so an 8 might seem high but if they thought she turned out better than someone they gave a 7 to, and 8 it is. Lisa had decent technique. not the best but she was up there. And her musicality and personality was great. A born performer it seems. |

Spot the sour grapes from the sourpusses who pre-judged....
Well I thought she was great. She was technically good and she PERFORMED the whole thing up a storm. I smiled throughout - it was the most enjoyable dance for a good few years as far as I'm concerned - I was totally delighted by her. Well done her and well done Robin for such an audacious first dance. |

She was spot on - confident, enthusiastic, in time and it was very enjoyable to watch. Completely different to Victoria's performance which was dire. Well done to Robin for just the right balance of technique with comedy - I hope they enjoy all the amazing comments that will be coming their way tomorrow in the papers !

I do hope she got the scores because she was so good and was very entertaining, which they do give marks for aswell (well Len does anyway).
But i was flabbergasted at Craigs score, i know he said he was in a better mood but blimey ![]() ![]() For me hers was the best dance of the weekend. |

I loved Lisas dance...While thinking that the start of this years strictly has been fairer on scores so far i was a little bit suprised by Criags 8 ..only because he is normaily he is quite mean with his scores ..so as much as I loved it , and i havent a clue as to what a judge would be looking for he must have loved it to...Looking forward to her ballroom next week..

thought she was entertaining, light on her feet, had better foot work than most and looked to be really enjoying herself. Her weight is irrelevant.
I thought Louis was over marked |

I makr in my head and I'd say her performance was a 6.5.
I thought it was good but she may have been slightly marked up for her weight. |

I loved her. Such infectious enthusiasm, confidence AND ability. I was amazed by how good she was on her own. Most celebs struggle with being out of hold, especially week one. All that said, she was overmarked by Craig.
Although I did love her performance because she did look like she was having an amazing time and was indeed showing that a size 16 plus can have a style and rhythm when dancing. Much more fun than the more polished performances from Denise and Kimberley. |

As an ex-fatty I'm disgusted by some of the comments. This is what we have to endure 24-7. Shit from people that are too stupid to wipe their own arses.
Shut your gob and start judging people on merit instead of looks. |

That was up there with Austin's jive for me in just making me smile. It was brilliant entertainment after so much angst and nerves.

Lisa was the best IMO at Cha this week routine had oomph and power - not perfect but she definitely went for it - think she got the 8 of two of the judges cos they had awarded 7's to others this place does not get any better for it's nastiness so really misinformed views on here
