With this updated list, I would say it is looking very likely this will be the case. I am very happy with this as opposed to a complete free for all. It gives it some variety whilst still being focussed and non confusing.

I think Michael & Denise will get the Salsa as opposed to more Cha Cha Chas being performed. My guess is that Fern will have the V Waltz and Victoria will have the Foxtrot. That will mean four of each dance apart from the two Cha Chas - perfect!

Thankfully we shouldn't have anybody doing double latin as the only two who danced latin last week still unknown are Victoria and Fern, and I can't see either of them being given another latin, especially not Victoria .

Listening to The Tuffers and Vaughan Show on 5live, and the Salsa has just been mentioned, so I think Michael may have that.

Then again, Michael's confirmed he's doing the Jive.

Maybe Fern and Victoria will be doing a ballroom not mentioned - perhaps Tango or Waltz since Cha Cha is being repeated?

Thus far we've got three Vienneses, three Foxtrots, two Salsas, two Jives and two Cha-Cha-Chas. I think Victoria and Fern might indeed be doing another ballroom to balance it out - Waltz would make sense given we've already got Cha-Cha-Chas.

I would much rather prefer the couples that did a cha cha in week 2 do a waltz and visa versa

That would be a terrible idea because it would mean the Waltz and Cha Cha wouldn't be danced again later in the series. You would essentially be killing them off by getting everyone to do it at the very start (i.e. at a poor lower standard.)

I wasn't impressed at first with the suggestion that everyone would do a different dance but I think the above is reasonable in terms of variety whilst still being focussed and not too confusing.

I reckon they will both be doing the V Waltz because there is no way that picture above is of Fern. It would also balance out from last week for there only being 6 Waltzes so introducing the V Waltz to 5 couples this week seems a good move as opposed to allocating them the Waltz.

At least everyone is dancing the opposite style unlike Holly and Russell.

We've got two of each Latin dance, though, so four of each ballroom only seems natural. Maybe that's just my own slightly OCD tendencies though...
