I think Vincent is one of the best. He's so calm, patient and easygoing, knows how to make his partner feel completely at ease and I've never seen him get annoyed with any celebrity ever.

I think Camilla was brilliant for many of the same reasons too. I miss her actually, she was always my favourite female pro.

Do you know that Vincent has been teaching people to dance since he was about 12 years old ? He passed his dance teacher exams as early as that - amazing !

No, I didn't know that. Wow, that's incredible! No wonder he's so good at it then!

Anton is by far the best teacher.

I've taken part in workshops taught by a few of the pros, and I thought Natalie was a brilliant teacher, I'd definitely rate her as one of the best.

I would think that like any learning and teaching, it depends on the learning style, ability and needs of the student. Some will fare better with a more exacting style whilst others will respond better to patience and encouragement.

Hayley Holt was a good teacher before she was cruelly cast asunder.

Don't you mean 'aside'? Otherwise the image in my brain that I am getting will keep me awake at night!

True, but the real talent of a good teacher surely is working out who responds to what and then adapting to your pupil (Natalie, Erin, Ian and Robin) and not yourself (Brendan, Aliona and Ola)

I'm sorry I should have used the PG version. Yes, you're quite right 'aside'

Exactly! And it's the responsibility of the teacher to identify the style of 'learning & teaching' that best suits their student!

In terms of getting the most out of their partner I would have to say Ola. Pasha, Robin and Nathalie also do really well.

Robin and Pasha for me. They are so patient with thier partners. It will be interesting to see just how far they will get on through the series.

Natalie.

Patient and accommodating to her partner. A real asset to the show.

Artem actually said on ITT that he has changed his teaching style this year for Fern (or words to that effect anyway).

A good teacher is a skill very few have. Imo they got rid of the 4 best teachers in Darren,Ian,Matthew and Lilia.

The present lot it seems Natalie and Pasha are the best .

I agree here that teaching is a special skill,Having ability to dance won't make you able to teach,

Also,I think,it is different if it is a class or a one on one situation like strictly.

I am sure there are people who could train an individual, but not a group, and vice versa.
