I just had to say how much i enjoyed this weekends shows. The Judges, Anton and Bruce had me in fits of laughter and quite a few of the celebs are actually really good. On the whole i think the second show was better then the first but i enjoyed it all.
The only thing i have to moan about is Darcy. I'm not one who moans about new people in a show usually, i liked Alesha and i havent minded changes on other shows (Britains Got Talent, Dancing On Ice etc) but she really gets on my nerves. If i hear her say 'yeah' one more time in that awful way i think im going to scream.
On the plus side though Artem looked yummy as did James and if i was ever to have a girl crush it would be Ola!
Anyone else agree?

I thought the second show was better too.

I enjoyed the whole show aswell. It was cheerful and even Craig was quite funny with is comments.
Bruce is an excellent host and the music was way better than in previous years.
My favourite pair were Lisa and Robin. Pure joy to watch.

Lisa and Robin were a pure joy to watch, and I agree about Sir Bruce, he was Mr Supremo as usual.

'Loved it Loved it Loved it!'

Yes me too. The dresses were fab, there are some good dancers and plenty of potential for more.
I love Sir Bruce and all the judges. I laughed loads.

The best show on tv is back. Yey!

Sir Bruce was on top form as he got into the swing of things.

Bruce was absolutely dreadful and spoiled the weekend for me
The judges were a bit OTT but gave good guidance and advice
All the celebs tried their best ( possible exception - Jerry Hall ) and all in all I enjoyed both programmes

I agree - I actually thought Bruce was quite funny (in both shows) and there are so many good dancers this year! Exciting!

We recorded Friday's show so we could watch a double bill last night. It was fantastic, so enjoyable. We usually FF through Bruce's bits, but decided not to touch the forward button, and I actually laughed twice at his jokes.

Once Sir Bruce got into his rhythm he was on top form. Can I take it from your name that you are some kind of dancer too.

Strictly is one of the few TV shows I voluntarily make a point of watching and, I must say, after 10 series, it still seems to have that x-factor. It's thorougly good entertainment.

I like the costumes this year so far, too. I wonder who the guest singers will be ?

For all sorts of reasons Saturday night's show was much better than Friday night and left me so looking forward to the rest of the series.

SCD is back with a bang with this lot of celebs.

I think Dionne Warwick and Cheryl Cole are confirmed.

I would love to have Aloe Blacc back again. My favourite act from last year. He was so good and he really got the show, the spirit of it. Plus I love him. In many ways reminds me of Donny Hathaway in the years of The Ghetto (http://vimeo.com/7809986). That kind of social earnest and the being in it feeling. Caro Emerald as well.

Here's great vid of Aloe Blacc.

Sorry, I know it's bad manners to put up music links cos this is not a music forum. I just love music. My ipod is my very good friend.

If we could have singers like that this year...

Oh oh oh and Colin on his trumpet

Dionne Warwick a big Yes, but please not Cheryl Cole, she is only using Strictly Come Dancing to fuel her petty fued with Sumon Cowel, she just needs to learn that purple and orange clash in an awfully spectacular way, even I could have told her that, but no! she is 'special' and knows best.

Afraid I'm not fond of Cheryl Cole either. There doesn't seem that much to her. Unless I'm missing something

Jeff Lynn would be good. Him from ELO. He's been about a lot recently.

Nope. But she's Kimberley's bezza mate, I don't know if she'll do Kimberley more harm than good though.
