Could not believe it last night just before Sid Own went on my electricity went off due to me flooding the house forgetting the bath was running

Friend text me to say wasn't Sid great. No idea love no electricity I wa s fuming. Finally back on by Jerry so thought I would catch up this morning

Sid Owen was brilliant and for week one I was suitably I pressed. I would never have thought he could dance. Just a lovely song and lovely dance

Lisa for her enthusiasm and timing she was superb, and Louis he will do well too

Saturday was by far the better of Friday

I must say, I was surprised at how good he was...much better than I had expected, especially in week one.

Loved Lisa best of al though!

I am so pleased he did so well, when he was on IAC he came over as such a nice quy and Craig for one in an interview on The One Show had written him off completely.

Keep it up Sid

I missed sid's dance so I will have to try and catch up on that, but it sounds as though he did quite well.

I too was impressed. I was expecting the bumbling inadequate Ricky.

I thought Sid would be another Ricky Groves! I'm glad he's good, he seems like a lovely chap

Yes, he was really good! A dark horse indeed and I'll be looking forward to watching him next week.

Let's hope the Latin isn't mediocre. I'm not sure how much hip action he will have.

I don't hold out much hope. He was lucky he had the waltz for starters but Latin demands a heck of a lot more.

I am hoping he'll find a personality too before he tries any Latin movement of any kind. It does not come naturally to your average white English male.

I feared a bit of awkwardness, but not a bit of it. I hope he is as good in the Latin.

Feeling smug cos I totally called this! He seems like a nice guy and cos he's short he's not going to look messy dancing, more neat and compact.

I thought he was fab and my personal favourite of last night. It's a shame I think his Latin may not be up to much I hope I'm wrong.

Richard had a good waltz too but there wasn't the same emotion.

I think he'll probably not be very good at the Latin, but I was really impressed with his Waltz. Once again Ola has a Chris Hollins-type contestant and plays to his strengths. Her choreography may not be to everyone's tastes, but when she's clever as she was here it does work!

I'm trying to remember if i've seen him dance on EE. I had seen Ricky Groves and Todd Carty"dance" so I knew EXACTLY what to expect when they came on this and dancing on ice
