Who are your Chels and Pash this year SCD-O? Or is it too early? It's weird. I know you're describing a defeat (for the couple you supported, and that I supported too) and that this should be frustrating, but you made me nostalgic for last year
![]() Yes, it's probably too early to tell who's my Pash&Chel this year... Still, that doesn't mean I definitely want them to win. I would like my 'Pash&Chel' to get to the final though... |

I said it only because I was GLAD Chelsee and Pasha got to the very end and I've got the pleasure to see them dance all the different dances. As for this year, I am still not quite sure of Pasha. He seemed more 'fit' and 'manly', but somehow he just looked different. I know a lot has got to do with the hair, but I am not crushing him yet. I liked Lisa and Robin very much but last year I liked Harry and Aliona in the beginning and ended up finding them quite boring and not wanting them to win because of that.

As far as crushing goes ( ... a nice thought...) I think a lot of that last year was to do with the training footage and ITT. It's the contrast between that guy dancing bare-chested with the two women or swooshing the red cape, and then his bemusement with Chelsee's accent, or his comic frustration when she wouldn't just stop with the phone. That kind of disarmed me anyway. So as the show gets underway, who knows, it may happen again... Hair notwithstanding.Hope so. Pashing was fun. I'm enjoying Salmoning [?] but would like both

Oh yes, I remember that feeling. It was pretty clear from early on that Harry would be the one... I remember thinking 'I just want to see Chelsee and Pasha do all the dances'. Wouldn't want to have missed their rhumba. (The showdance, on the other hand...)

For those here who said Louis is boring on the dance floor and Flavia is shy, and thought that might mean they can't win. I have this to say:
Last year, Harry Judd was BORING on the dance floor. Hardly smiled, always 'too cool for school' experession for his latin and fixed quarter-smile (not even a half smile!) on the ballroom (and oftentimes he just looked 'cool'), and Aliona is definitely NOT a live wire (and for that matter a very good friend of Flavia as well). Well, they won! I loved Pasha and Chelsee last year and supported them till the very end. They were so much more fun to watch. Yet, they lost (well, they came second). History might repeat itself again this year. ![]() As for the Louis/Flavia partnership I think they get along ok. Most of the people who vote for Louis will be not paying any attention to Flavia anyway

I loved Harry & Aliona's partnership on the dancefloor and off, and found Chelsee extremely irritating. Harry mostly did perform on the dancefloor and was picked up on it when he didn't. Flavia and Louis probably just need time to get their partnership settled and his nerves on the live shows sorted out, and their body language was better on ITT than it was on Saturday. |

They seemed to be ok together on ITT, still not getting any real warmth or genuine liking between them but they seem to be forming a reasonably good working relationship. I love Flavia so that was where my initial "concern" came from, so I really do hope they do well.

I'm finding the Kimberley and Pasha partnership boring this year. Lovely people but meh. Pasha had a brilliant partnership with Chelsee last year, but they're just too nice for each other this year and there's no spark for me, perfectly competent though the dancing may be, but then I'm not really a Pasha fan.
] ).However, I will give it some time, I might end up loving them. |

How could he say someone is boring as a fact? It's clearly an opinion. He shouldn't need to spell that out!

Read the tone of the post, it's written as if speaking for everyone. Yes, it shouldn't need spelled out that someone's not speaking for everyone, but when there's such a generalisation I feel it does need to be, particularly when the poster was using it as a comparison, which when looked at from another viewpoint doesn't work at all, so it shouldn't have been stated in such absolute terms in my opinion.

After the CCC Louis did put a hand on Flavia a few times but always in the right way and at appropriate times. Flavia basically ran away from him and up the stairs, so I think Flavia is the one who is being non-tactile for some reason.
They seem to get on very well though, so I'm not worried at the moment, but I hope they both get in contact soon. Maybe start each training session with some Samba rolls? |

I really don't think it does need to be. However you frame it, you can only say someone is boring as your own opinion, unless you preface it with 'everyone thought'.

True. 'In my opinion' is like having to say: I walk into the room... on my legs; I breathe... with my lungs; I sit down... on my bum. etc Just so there's no error.
I overuse 'IMO' and 'I guess' and all those phrases so as to wander around the place without being jumped on, but it's daft really. We all know fellow posters are fallible and limited beings, caught in our own perspective, and not Words of God. You only really need the citation if it's someone else's view or if you are indeed making a claim to universality. |

Personally looking forward to getting my Salmonoff this weekend
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Very good. His name doesn't really help in the same way Pasha's does. Pasha has Pashanistas. Salmon has Fry?? Pasha is adored with Pashan. Salmon with Salmonella?? It's NOT working. Not fair. Love this guy. So I am truly impressed by your inventive Salmonoff
