After posting yesterday that the first night was a disaster may I congratulate the people involved with last night's show
because it was really good.
I thought is was great entertainment and mainly because of some surprise performances.
First was Sid Owen who although not foot perfect carried off his waltz with great aplomb and style, well done.
Later on Richard did better than I expected and again put on a good show by trying his best..
The star ,of course, was Lisa whose dancing,,energy ,fun, and the happy way she carried off the cha cha cha was a delight to watch.
This is what it's all about in that people who are not expected to do well put on a show which brings real pleasure to the audience and not the clowning of previous years.
Once again may I offer my congratulations on a lovely show,
which leaves the X Factor trailing in all respects.

Fab show. Just like being back in the old days when it was confident, and fun and just worked. Are you listening Jay Hunt - it was you who f....ed it up.

I really enjoyed both shows. Fantastic entertainment and a really good line up of celebs this year.

Yes it was a much better night than Friday. Richard's waltz was rather beige but apart from that it was an entertaining show.
Agree about Lisa. What a surprise! Expected her to be the joke contestant because of her comedic personality, but instead it was a 1st dance masterclass. An even mix of great moves and great personality

I thought I enjoyed Friday's show until I saw Saturday's! Everything worked so much better. The dancing was better and I think the Saturday night feeling had a big effect.
