I was thinking about posting Terry's post on the Post of the Day thread, but I wasn't sure if he was serious or not!

I give up. I thought Physics was complicated but this is giving me a headache All this time-travelling sounds like something out of Dr Who! What exactly does "live" mean anyway?

Giving up might be best. I'm not sure if this poster is being deliberately provocative because on another thread I replied saying they were wrong about the Friday night and here they are again posting the same thing.

They announce at the start of each show whether it is 'Live' or 'From' television centre (Saturday and Sunday shows respectively). They have to say 'From' on Sunday because as mentioned it is pre-recorded after the Sat main show.

However, the pro dance seen at the start of Sat show was recorded on Fri night so that was the only part that wasn't 'live'.

The best way to remember is that anytime that the celebs are dancing then it is LIVE (but apart from the launch show lol).

I'm sure there are a few minutes delay, but that counts within the 'live' context. You should also take into account that unless you are watching on freeview, you are going to be a few seconds behind anyway because of the delay in the satelite signal!

Aww, let's have it. I've just been sent here by Izzie for cheering up purposes. If you don't, I will.

I always thought that was why they cut the sound... Because of the singing (amongst other things)... Have I been that gullible all this time?!

Thats what I thought, and I still haven't worked out if the birds tweeting when they cut the sound are live or not.

I think not live- although I think the last series I watched was series 5 or 6, so they may have shipped in live ones after that!!

I had a feeling I heard a song thrush that was on a loop, but I can't be sure.

I've just spent ten minutes looking at it to work out what made you chuckle and now I've got a headache.

Definitely. A few seconds for 'safety' reasons is sensible anyway. And in our house you could wander from room to room and hear something on the TV or radio at a good few seconds time differences!

Bless. Your post made me giggle at the thought of the BB contestants bursting into song.

Unless I missed something, it must have been a recording last night - Zoe Ball signed off from IIT, and when I switched over to The One Show, there she was, sat on the sofa talking to Alex & Matt live,
