mind you, given that voters on these shows appear to have no taste, no insight into music and no shame, g4 should win it...ha ha ha ha. . I'm a huge Radiohead fan and Creep is so brilliant because of the dynamics of the song (soft & quiet, loud & angry, soft & quiet etc.) and also the emotion in Thom Yorke's voice.G4 have already shown they're incapable of this when they did Everybody Hurts so I expect their version of Creep to be just as awful. Trouble is, I hate Steve's MOR, bland, sub-standard "soul" offerings so I'll be watching just to have a good laugh and may be to see Simon Cowell's face if G4 win . I started watching X Factor because I thought the openness of the auditions might produce some actual talent but its turned out to be just as bad as Pop Idol 2. I haven't been able to watch an episode without switching channels every 5 minutes (not helped by the awful judges). Oh well, may be the next TV talent show will come up with something...... |

I've just read the news item "Sharon Slams Steve", that woman is a total fecking liability! So you don't think Steve handed being insulted by Louis very well? He should have "punched him or shut up"? Yeah right on, he should commit a criminal offence and not defend himself with quiet dignity as a grown up? Sharon maybe you should look at your OWN MORONIC FAMILY....after all people in glass houses and all that.

I am a Radiohead fan, as is Mr Zip. We had a good old cringe and a sharp intake of breath when we heard it.
I'm sorry, I don't care that it's different or if it's arranged in a perfect way, or that the harmonies are wonderful or that no-one sings out of tune. It was horrible and souless to me. It's a song about a lonely introvert. It's just a whole entity with Thom Yorke singing that. There are some songs that are special like that. I think this should be left alone. G4 made a horrible job of this. Horrible. PS I would like to be able to say this without being pecked to death by Team G4. Thanks.
