Well I was holding out for them to sing "I want to Break Free" complete with the drag outfits (Jon would look so cute as a schoolgirl!!) just for the sheer unadulterated pleasure of watching Simon Cowell implode on live TV.....

Jon does look rather like Roger Taylor, as has been posted elsewhere...

Having been previously indifferent to G4, I have to say they blew my socks off with that one on Saturday.

Happy you enjoyed it Histeria. Certainly turned out better than many sceptics were expecting. I really would have loved it as a Chrismas single too.

.....we are all hoping in Team G4 that if the boys DO sign with Sony they will be releasing it sooner rather than later

....doubt if it would be O Holy Night jodie as this is basically a Xmas song, and they would be releasing probably Jan/Feb/March time. My dream would be a double A side.......Creep and Bohemian Rhapsody

Didn't think much when I first heard it but I now think it's a great performance, it would have been a perfect xmas single and I doubt they'll release it next xmas.

I like the way they've used the other voices in the group too, although they did in the begining of the first few eps. I also think the sound mixing is probably better now.

The backing seemed to give it a bit of a Phil Spector-ish feel. Can't stop playing it! I can't really decide which song I'd prefer as a single since I love them all. They may be keen not to release a Queen song first just to make sure everyone knows they're more diverse. So I'm possibly leaning towards "Creep", a full version of "Circle of Life" and/or "You'll never walk alone", since it'll be too late for a Christmas one. But if destiny - and Simon - says it is not to be for three months, they may come up with something even better along the way, I guess they have quite a few songs practised which didn't make it to the show for one reason or another.
