Rylan you better brace yourself pal - you're the 2012 series hate figure!
So according to this years scripts its you Rylan who has been cast into this years hate figure by the shows producer (bloke who was seen telling Louis who to vote for) so prepare yourself for the tabloid media digging into your private and personal life, any info from ex boyfriends/girlfriends saying how much of a prick you are and how you're mates with Katie Price, any estranged family or friends etc.
They hope this tabloid influence will humiliate you and the public vote you off the show, but they'll keep you on a little longer for a little more at the expense of another 'good' act then the public will despise even more. So buckle up, pal! - Honestly its so predictable. The 2010 hate figure Katie Waissel who had info on her grans private life dug up eventually was brought down to this rather humiliating incident... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juk_Ejx__ig |

He thought he was going to go and looked devastated with the decision. Don't think he'll get any additional haters. Unlike Louis.

His song off performance was the worst I have ever heard, but nobody should be surprised he survived tonight he clearly thinks he's there based on his talent alone.

Rylan is merely a distraction, the true danger is orange and far more deceitful.

He's harmless, yes and I feel for him even though I can't stand his performances and I think he should of been voted off tonight and voted off with dignity... as in Gary should of kept his mouth shut and said "I don't think you can win this competition, your not my thing so Im saving carolynne" rather then keep saying "this is the easiest decision for us" as in trying to say who the other judges should vote for in such a patronizing way, that is just childish and may have cost him his act this week... maybe next week too...
Its a shame though because now things will only get tougher for Rylan, both on and off the show... the hard times for him have only just begun, and he seems like a fragile person to me... things could get ugly... |

I'm warming to him. It's Shakin' Scouser who does my head in.

Celebrity Big Brother bosses will snap him up as soon as he's booted off X Factor, he'll then try and do a Frankie Cocozza and change public opinion whilst in the house

I just LOVE contestants like Rylan. As sad as it sounds, I was begging for Louie to put it to deadlock because I knew he would pick up more votes. I would have lost all interest if he went. I want to watch these characters and see them piss so many people off week after week. No real interest in the music really.
For me I view it as a drama and I want to see drama. Rylan brings drama and for that he deserved to stay. We all know will who win which is the Ella girl. So lets just keep it interesting for the next 4-5 weeks. |

Apart from last night's performance, which I actually thought wasn't that bad, I agree with everything you've said here. Gary came across as very smug as if he believed that it was Rylan that was going. It was very disrespectful towards him. Quote:

I agree here too. Rylan was actually cheered after his performance and I'm pretty sure I heard "Rylan" chants when Dermot was announcing the results. But for next week, I think he'll be used as a scapegoat and get booed to high heaven, which isn't very fair on him.

x factor fix
everyone should avoid voting for Ella and Rylan this week, get them in the bottom 2 and see what happens. The producers won't be able to rig that one. Let's not forget who is really behind all the shenanigans, Mr S.C.
Reminds me of that quote from the movie 'The Running Man' - ''It's all about the ratings, Ben" |

I don't hate Chris to the point were I'd send him hate mail or read stories about him but I will admit he has done no favours with these fake nerves and how he was going to make a show of himself yet was a performer already so that is atleast one reason for a public dislike whereas Rylan has done nothing to the public to cause them to dislike him other than if people don't like that he is gay.

I don't think his voice is that bad, he was more in tune than any of the groups. He has been brought in as this years villian, pity the public fall for it and dish out 'hate', a strong emotion about a guy who just wants to entertain.

Should he have stayed over Carolynne? No. But should he have been in the bottom two based on Saturday's performances? Not in my opinion.
It's sad that he's going to be this year's "joke act". I'm glad he's got Nicole as his mentor, as I think she'll fully stand by him, and stick up for him, and will be the best of the four to get him through the show, however long he ends up staying in. He seems like a really nice guy. No he's not the best singer, but he knows that. |
