1 will not watch again
That's what people said when the two children got humiliated by their mother in the auditions, but they still tune in.

So many of my mates have reckoned they will never watch again at various points in the show over the years. Yet oddly enough those same people filled my facebook feed with a flurry of exploding rage as Louis made his decision tonight.

Every time Rylan's in bottom 2 you can expect a deadlock. There is seriously no point in a sing off as Louis proved he didn't care about it.

Tonight's result was totally fair - the person who got the least public votes went home.

If we dropped this judges votes farce we would avoid all this nonsense - if you go home its the public's decision.

Honestly these are the type of threads the producers want. You have naively sat through Jedward, Chico and Wagner over the years but now you are outraged? What happened tonight is what the X Factor is all about - creating talking points. You may pretend to stop watching but this outrage is beyond hysterical.

OMG!!!!!! It is so obvious first live show. SCD won the ratings for Saturday night. Big drama on results show. Headlines in tabloids in the morning. Simon Cowell knows exactly what he is doing he does it every year.

Bloody boring now :yawn::yawn::yawn:

Give us a new a new entertainment show for Saturday nights in Autumn 2013.

You mean you, for not voting for Carolynne?

Don't get the fuss. She was bottom of the vote.

Another like minded person who sees the X Factor for what it is.

Well judging from the amount of anger from morons that happen to be facebook friends of mine it seems a lot of people care about the entertainment show that was on tonight. You might be bored but many are not.

I agree with this. It's created a talking point and when you create controversy on shows like this it's usually because the show is working.

But this is not the point. The point is that the judges decide *on the performance they have just seen*. As Gary said, how can you compare the two?

Yeah what's the point in a sing off
I JUST cant understand how they could pick Rylan over Carolynne anyway, she has a great voice, he is just there for comedy value which is kind of horrible for him really.

I am not impressed with this really he should have never been in the show in the first place, he will never be a RECORDING artist. I actually dont dislike him, he is entertaining and funny, but not for the xfactor IMHO.

This result has caused a massive fall out with viewers lol. They cant all be wrong surely.

I agree Carolyne had the least votes, so she had to go home. It was the dreadful way it was done that I hated!! That's it for me now I won't even bother to Sky+ this farce of a singing contest. I look forward to The Voice. I wish the remaining contestants good luck and hope they get what they dream of from the X-Factor!

Jedward vs. lucie. Jedward are saved, outrage, people never watching this farce again.

Last year, the first live show. The judges kick out an act each, Amelia lily goes, some boy goes instead of frankie cocozza, etc. Cue outrage and people declaring they'll never watch this farce again..

Lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm a Strictly fan. X-Factor does not appeal because of the very obvious manipulations, watching would be time wasted. Besides, bits controversial or not get aired on breakfast tv or plastered over the newspapers anyway. Plus, I have always figured Mr Cowell as a control freak would have direct camera link and a say in what goes on, no matter where he is.

The person who got the lowest number of votes went home. Why are people complaining that *this* week was a fix, when it's actually all the other weeks when the judges get to overrule the PAID public vote that is a travesty?

We have threads like this every year.
Ad nauseum. I think we should have a separate part of the X-factor forum dedicated to Fix conspiracies. It is just getting ridiculous now.

Exactly

People arent annoyed that Carolynne went. People are annoyed at the incredibly manipulated way in which it was done.

"She was bottom of the vote anyway"...............so why have a judges vote then? If thats how people are going to justify it lets just send the act with the least votes home each week and screw the judges vote? Dont you see the point people are making?

Of course decision will be split amongst certain acts but you cannot at all compare Rylans sing off performance to Carolynnes. You can let Nicole off, of course she will vote her own act but seriously, the producers knew if it went to deadlock that Rylan would stay so thats what they wanted

Spot on, the public decided this week and not the judges which is how it should be.
