Where the hell has Shenice been with Kat & Alfie running away with Tommy etc...or did I miss the spectacular jaw-dropping moment she made her exit?

She left without an exit.

She went to visit her mother in Spain and decided to stay there. She's no longer a cast member. Though her exit was relatively low-key, the thespian world mourned the loss with great anguish.

In prison she tried to kill Alfie after hearing one of his jokes.
No she had an off screen exit.

I'm still having counselling to come to terms with her abrupt, unexpected departure!!

Yep it seems the writers finally realised what a completely pointless character she was so she had a very low key exit to save anymore embarrassment!

I'm glad she was scrapped, there was no reason for her to be there. It did feel like they were only doing it as a favour to Lacey.

Since it's funded by the public, the BBC can't really hire people as favours. Having an older child in that family must have made sense to them but now they've realised they weren't doing anything with her and she'd come in the way of the stories they have planned.

I'm surprised people have noticed her absence.

This is the thing, they did nothing with her! I imagine when they first thought of this character, they planned to have scenes of Kalfie really bonding with her and creating a nice family unit.

But no, they brought her in then after about 5 episodes she was hardly ever seen again, and Kalfie reverted back to the usual merry go round of Kat opening her legs again for anything in trousers, and Alfie being angry for 5 minutes then forgiving her until the next time she does it , and so on and so on!

Surely this poor girl should have been taken away by social services? They seem pretty hot on Lola's case. How come they missed Shenice?

You kidding?

I don't think the BBC are above nepotism in the slightest, in fact, that seems to be how the majority of people become employed there!

Well recent reports suggest that a lot worse has happened on the publicly funded premises of the BBC than doing a favour for one of the previous cast by employing her sister.

Oh please. They have the same mother and because both were under 18 when they first joined any contract would need to be signed by the parent as a person under 18 can not be obligated to a contract. They lived in the same house which was walking distance to the studios, Lacey's mother had been to the studio many times when she first started who was also this girl's mother.
I do not believe hiring this girl was nothing to do with her older sister. She was one of the most wooden child actors ever and was hired purely because of Lacey that much was obvious. And I do not care what lies BK told certain facts remain.

How could you have missed her devastating exit OP?? She's still trending worldwide on Twitter even now and has sent ripples through British soap history.

The show has really suffered without her. Lily Harvey was carrying this show...how will they cope without her? I'm not sure that they will. Expect ratings to start crashing down as the Earth-shattering revelation that Shenice has departed the Square finally hits home for EastEnders viewers.

A potential romance with Bobby Beale (or as I'd prefer to call it, "Lobby") was an opportunity for two actors with undescribable gravitas to share the small screen together, that only comes around once a generation.

I guess an actress with that much talent wouldn't stay there long, I bet the offers were flooding in
