Nicky has got potential, but i'm afraid he hasn't got a good teacher
Anyone agree? I did like Karen when i first saw her. I like her as a dancer. But after seeing Nicky and Karen's training video and their dance,i get a feeling that she is not a good teacher like Natalie,Ola,Robin. Even though Craig was little bit harsh about lift in their dance,he is right. But she didn't seem to be taken the comment on the board. She didn't feel like she had let down Nicky because of her mistake. So i'm afraid Nicky will be let down by her in long time. I hope i'm proved wrong though. Because it is not fair on Nicky.

I am surprised she put in a lift
Many people tweeted her to advise her that Craig would penalise her and she left it in regardless! I dont think Craig was harsh at all - she broke the rules and as a pro she should know the rules! |

Bit too soon to tell surely?
The lift thing was completely staged- she knew it would be penalised and Craig's OTT reaction suggested it was all in the name of drama and agreed in advance. |

Just interested to find out how you came to this conclusion? |

How do you know her inner most thoughts on Nicky and SCD. Do you know her personally?

..... I suppose she could have faked her shock and surprise a bit better .I think you should give her a break - we have no idea at this point if she's a good teacher or not. Perhaps Nicky's not a very good student (though there's no reason to think that either!)

My thoughts exactly katie. I am a little surprised that Karen is getting so much criticism and being accused of all kinds of things when she's only just got here - and not even had a chance to settle in.

The lift could all have been staged fine. But, they had 3 weeks to work on the performance and there was very little content after the opening sequence. It just leaves you wondering how much actual dance training went on in the workshop. I have to say I found the "he came to training in shorts" joke wore a bit thin as well. Training is about learning not what you look like.
I am really looking forward to seeing them next week I am sure it will be a lot better |

I think if the training was very intense and focused they would have produced more dancing. All we have to go on is 1.5 minuites of performance, that is what we are expected to judge and vote on from next week. If you watch it after the lift there is very little dancing. I repeat, I am looking forward to seeing them next week they still come over as a strong team capable of a top placing

I know it's early days but honestly think Kristina should have been paired with Nicky , Natalie with Colin and Karen with Michael . Obviously none of this matters now

I think putting the lift in their first dance was quite silly, he wasn't going to be good enough for the dance to be memorable, so the lift stood out like a sore thumb. But I have no clue what kind of teacher she will be like, at all.

Somebody said, think it was Monkseal (but I could be wrong, so sorry if I am) that Karen didn't do any heel leads in that waltz. If the pro isn't doing them what hope does the celeb have?

Lets say the forebodings are not good for their ballroom, I'm sure she'll choreograph a great latin next week .
