"Is Sky Go coming to Android Tablets?"

Quote:
We are looking to support Android tablets in the future, but the lack of market penetration and the challenge of securing content rights for this device means that it is not currently on our immediate product release roadmap. We will bring you any updates on this page.
So at the moment, looks like that's a no.

Does your tablet have to be on the same network as the pc or can you do remote streaming?

you can use remote streaming on all three apps but with splastop i can never get it work .so i tried avsteamer and that works great when i am out and bout on with my iphone. I have never use remote streaming on my tab as i have wifi only and i never it take out.with crazy remote it works well but i can only get it work when i have port forward the ports. On avstreamer you dont have to do anything just check allow 3g on both the computer and app than you outside the network.

Streaming Remotely

I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab with the av streamer app.
working fairly ok (a bit shaky) on my home network, what I would really like to do is use the Tab out and about with tethering from my Samsung S3 phone, so far no joy. Where I
going wrong. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean that you can't tether your tab with your S3 or that the splashtop doesn't work when you are out thethering your s3 to the galaxy tab?

My galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tethers perfectly to my galaxy note whilst out and about, I just can't get splashtop to work well enough. It's barely ok for opening files etc, but steaming video and music is awful because of the lag.

I can tether ok, getting 4-6 meg download speed where I was. I am running the AV Streamer on the Tab (ICS), is there something else I should download or have I over looked something elsewhere?
