Well she shattered the windows to my flat, which blew me away in a manner I did not want.
Nor the cost of replacing them, so I hope she is gone as soon as possible. |

Couldn't agree more. She has been the only act that has wowed me having watched from the start.
She won't win though. That's going to be Kye or Ella methinks. |

I can see her being eliminated for Rylan too
"We already have great singers, Rylan is the fun factor" |

Basically there are two camps:
Mostly young people and some older ones who have never heard this old school style of singing or know nothing about rock singing and ignorantly call it shouting or screaming. Then there are people who do understand and appreciate this true late 60s early 70s old school rock. It's about time we had some old school singing to combat the utter crap that is currently call good music that is in the charts today. Sadly as the voters are mostly in the first category, I don't see her lasting long. Then it's back to the tweenie pop crap. |

I like Melanie a lot but she hasn't a chance of winning unfortunately. X-Factor audiences just don't 'do' rock. And despite them playing Kashmir every week on the show woudn't know who Robert Plant or Janis Joplin were even if you strapped them to a copy of Led Zeppelin IV and played Ball 'n' Chain at them for 3 days straight.

She was the only one who was note perfect and who didn't screw up the stage show. I thought she was awesome.
She won't win, not a hope. If Leona Lewis is what people like - soft, insipid, dull - then they ain't gonna vote for Mel. Next week she needs to perform something that wasn't first recorded in 1968; I cannot think what though. Perhaps some old Guns & Roses track - too pop-rock for me, but it is a bit more current. I've read people suggesting Florence & the Machine, but that's just too dreadful. |

Bottom two is calling this week or next. No demand for such dated material will be the judges exit line

Please describe the "whole package"????she has stage presence, she is a good looking woman for her age, without being fake or going under the knife , she has a good voice and she is very likable, or is the UK becoming just as shallow as America where everything has to be fake and done by surgery?

ya you only have to look at leonas nose.
she had a nose job....probrbaly all the jibes about her face got to her - even though in america there were many polls naming her as the 'hottest new star' etc, jimmy kimmel and david letterman were both all over her on their shows....over here we just have less repestc for ethnic womens facial features...FACT |

Don't agree.
She's not as good as Christopher or Jamene. |
