He seems like a very angry negative bitter person. He goes off not only on Madonna, but his own record label. He's one of the highest paid dj's in the world, so I don't know what he has to be so angry and bitter about. I really dislike artists like that who feel the need to go on bitter rants against everything and everyone instead of being grateful for the success they do have. Many people would love to be in his position.
Most Madonna fans don't even know who this guy is and probably don't take the time to send him some kind of message. But he should realize if you criticize someone that person's fans are going to respond back. If you can't deal with that you shouldn't criticize someone in the first place. I'm sure if it was the other way around if Madonna had all of sudden started criticizing him, his fans would be all over Madonna.

he is completely what i am against in music...no need to be such a bigot.....but i do think somehow M snubbed him when recording on MDNA...remember many DJs and producers sent work to M beforhand and she chose Solveig of the select bunch for MDNA so i think he has been a bit bitter....just my analogy....seems way to personal.

But tbh its a shame he has some good productions that his bile overshadows it all tbh nevermind.....nobodys perfect

Sometimes it works the opposite though. A lot of times Madonna wants to work with certain dj's but they refuse to work with her. In the dj/dance world, pop music and pop stars are often looked down on. A lot of dj's feel they have to maintain their credibility as hard core clubbers and not "selling out" so a lot of them feel they can't work with someone like Madonna who's seen as a pop star and they have to put down pop artists like Madonna to maintain their credibility with other dj's and "real" EDM artists.

omfg that is true too! Its freakng sad man....i mean Madonna ahs been in the Dance scene for 30 years exactly now...even more if counting her Emmy/Breakfast Club days you know? For a wannabe like Deadmau5 to even criticise and slam someone like Madonna is rediculous, glad she called him out on her Twitter promo for MDNA though that was so cool....one mouse to another man she funny i love her .

I'm kind of a weird Madonna fan in that she's my favorite artist, but I don't really follow a lot of other dj's or electronic artists that much. A lot of times people talk about hot dj's and a lot of the time I have no clue who they're even talking about or what their music sounds like! I find this new term EDM that we're supposed to use very pretentious. To me it's still house or dance music. I think Madonna does a great job of taking electronic dance stuff and turing it into a pop song I can relate to.
But at the same time, I think it would be interesting if she worked with someone who doesn't come from a purely dj background on the next record. Someone who's more of a traditional producer, songwriter or musician.

That's certainly true of me, i'm not even sure how to pronounce his name, what with the number 5 in it, I thought it was deadmau five, it was his head gear that made me assume it was 'mouse'!

And agreed gigi....Dance is dance, Electronic Music is Electronic and House is House....EDM is pretentious....but in that case Madonna is an EDM artist then.

Confusing but yeah i love that she established Mirwais and Stuart Price by working with them the past decadeand previously with Pettibone and Betts....even Orbit! But i feel by working with Solveig he already established himself with "Hello" and the likes MDNA didnt propel anywhere you know.

i do think Monsieur Adi is where to head next...he said Like A Prayer, Erotica and American Life are albums that inspired hi to become a DJ and Producer.....would be so hot if they collaborated in the future

I think it is the simple thing of "a dig at big artist = promo" its true to everything really...mentioning MADONNA brings all Madonna fans to the article.....sod he knows what hes doing.

Judging by some of the posts on here i think he has a point..all her fans are so quick to attack him at the slightest criticism about her when they know nothing about him or what he said or why he said it.
he didnt slate her or her music or belittle her (ala example) or use her to sell records . He was just critical of her promotion of drug use over a comment she made at a rave and becuase of her album title.
And its all sorted out now anyway the misunderstanding was cleared up via twitter and they are friends.

But it doesn't seem cleared up. He's still attacking her in recent interviews. She was quite nice to him on twitter, but he doesn't seem to accept her olive branch and has continued on attacking her.
